I decided to pull the guy's code to test it out locally and holy shit .... no words. Hardcoded references everywhere, structure was just complete vomit, hardcoded local paths to his machine with obscure reasons why, changing the execution path for no reason going beyond what the API called for, hardcoded credential files that didn't belong at all. The code is so unusable it needs to be completely re written. It's not even functional on the machines of other devs because he hardcoded the interpreter path too.

We looked at the library he used to set it up, and it was EXPERIMENTAL. This nigga used a beta product, and his response as always was fuck it, not my problem. Now we have to fix the entire thing since it's broken, and our academic PHD overlord has no idea how to fix it. What's weird is he wanted to use Python because he didn't understand the other framework. This made no sense, since instead of adapting to the new framework like a normal person, he FORCED his choices and ideals onto us without bothering to ask or question if this was a good idea. It broke everything, and now we have to fix it. Guaran fucking tee when its fixed this guy will be lauded by upper management for his "skills".

Forgiveness is between one and God, and no one can force you to forgive others on God's behalf. That would be the definition of blaspheming to force your world views on others as if they are God's, and yet so many people do it anyways.

One guy I just tried warning about a scam being pulled where he's traveling to, since there have been a lot of scams there recently, and he was warning others about stuff that i told him about and new things he found out a month ago when he was there, so this is an ongoing exchange of info. I told him the scammers are using a script and what they're selling and i was going to tell him how to know if he's buying a scammy item, and he says "scammers are trying to make money. big surprise."

He didn't ask about the script, the scam setup, or any other information. This faggot is definitely going to walk into this scam now, but unfortunately he'll never admit it so I won't get to enjoy hearing about him suffering for having cocked me off about warning him.

Another guy. I was asking for a piece of paper he was mailed from a company we're working with to make this part we need, and he made all these incomprehensible excuses as to why he couldn't give me the piece of paper. he was saying dumb shit like "i never got the paper", even though he told me he got it months ago and should be impossible, because I walked through the steps with him, then he starts talking about the online ordering process for the part which has nothing to do with what we're talking about, I tell him this (i've used this company many times before), then he jumps to accusing me of not knowing what I'm talking about, I ask him to get a new copy, then he starts talking about the original ordering process and I have no idea why in the fuck he keeps bringing this up and he insists that I don't know what I'm talking about (yes, about this irrelevant part of the ordering process that I've done many times before), i tell him again to get a new copy, then he says he has no desire to get a new copy (we need the fucking information on this piece of paper), then he made comments like "idk why you want this piece of paper so badly. you're stressing too much" (him questioning this violates the entire premise of what we've been doing for months in more ways than what has already occurred in the conversation), then he hangs up the fucking phone. i text him telling him to get a new copy and it was dumb shit like "i'm going to relax for the day" - this is in the morning by the way. It's a fucking WEEK DAY. we need this shit done a week ago, and he is the one suffering the consequences first and foremost for this not getting done, and other people are going to have problems shortly after if he doesn't do this.

This went on for 45 minutes before I just asked him for the fucking confirmation number for the order and I'd call them and follow the paper trail to get the info myself (which is going to take fucking hours to get through the phone lines and then get the right person on the phone, and i do not normally have time during the week - plus I might need more information that he has when I call in, because this is his job).

Retard pills. Is there something going on in the world that i'm forgetting? I don't have social media or TV so I have no way of knowing what's going on out there.

The dog has no idea what’s happening and is just in full survival mode. So unpredictable. When I was a teen, I was out with my dog, miles from home. She sliced her foot on a sharp object, glass, metal, I don’t know, but she was bleeding all over the place. I took off my shirt and wrapped it around her foot and carried her miles home. I'm pissed about the tech world recruiting culture. I hate hate hate Amazon and Google and all the other faggy DEI slave conglomerates. This morning I set up an interview with an Amazon recruiter. It's Dec 26th at 10AM. Why isn't she on vacation? Anyway, my body didn't fully wake up and I'm recovering from a cold but I'm like "OK let's do this."

I ask her about the testing process and what is the threshold for these DS&A tests do. If you're not familiar with tech testing it's like give you some problems you might have found in a college course, strictly academic and unrealistic because nobody fucking does that on their day job. In no other industry that I can think of are people asked to do ridiculous shit like this.

I'm not gonna spend a month of my life training up to pass a bullshit test without any real prospect of a job and it's certainly not motivating to go work more than 40 hours a week surrounded by PIP dodging, back stabbing lying 'jeets that have each other's back. You ever think how many jeets end up working at Amazon but other companies aren't flooded with them? They want desperate optionless, childless workers that think about work 24/7. They will always fire the bottom 15% no matter what. They have layoffs in the tens of thousands and somehow keep job applications open. Do they have real jobs or are they just collecting data?

She couldn't tell me what roles there were on what teams or anything. She just wanted me to waste my time and take this stupid test and then maybe maybe there's something else, but she couldn't say. Amazon wastes everybody's time by immediately giving a test to anyone that applies for a job. You worked in the industry for 10 years? Doesn't matter because you're treated like a bottom of the barrel lying pajeet. Of course the pajeets they cheat, It's not hard to cheat on these tests and now with AI it's trivial, so it's not like they filter out much, it's a waste of time.

They have no clue how to interview people, they just rely on a bullshit book written by diversity hire female, Cracking the coding interview by Gayle Laakmann McDowell. That bitch did more to damage tech culture than anyone. Like the dumb recruiter said, they need to filter people out on some criteria. In my opinion this criteria might as well be how many jumping jacks you can do.

I'd rather spend my time learning real tools, building real things, things that may one day create a profit for me. I may get a job at Amazon but I know it won't last and I would be looking to GTFO ASAP because their culture is shit, the co-workers are literally shit, the hours are long and they don't allow hybrid either. You get good money but abandon your life entirely and then you burn out, every single time.

The vignette or example they used made a very good point: if you live or work in a chink third world shithole, and something can only be done through paying someone off (very very common in asia and africa), how exactly is it bribing if it's the ONLY way to do something? In their example, they had mentioned that not bribing someone meant they were cold shouldered by the individual, and the only way to get something done was to pay the particular individual. Of course not operating with this mechanism when everyone else does, only hurts yourself.

I needed a simple sail shahid for the chicken yard and in wanting to buy local, I went over to Home Depot because they showed online, the size I needed, a 12x12x12 triangle in the color I wanted. So, take off early from work, pick it up, as well as some lag-eye bolts for fastening. Get the thing home, roll it out, and it’s barely 10 feet in all directions. I guess they call it 12 feet stretched out? I don’t know, but now I have to return it and in the meantime I reserved one that will work from Amazon. Fuck, I hate this shit. A good example, we were talking about how Christians can hold themselves accountable to Biblical behavior. The answer i got was through personal conviction. I was trying to explain how personal conviction may be noble, but outside discipleship and proper disciplining and moral guidance is NOT good enough to ensure obedience. As such proper Christian morality will not come from the raging narcicistic ways of some entitled asshole who thinks they are better than everyone else.

Another good example: hate the sin but not the sinner. How in the everloving fuck am i supposed to do that? How does one take the act (criminal nigger murders 10 people in Germany by running them over with a car), from the person (fucking nigger who kills a bunch of people). And the answer was to pray for the criminal. So dont punish the guy, dont hold them accountable for shit. Instead continue doing jack shit whilst the criminals continue getting away with shit. The task was simple: gray out a button. My coworker was trying to "help", and turned a simple task of graying out a button into a massive call with 6+ people because he's convinced it's something else, that has spanned 2 fucking hours. Literally the guy is pissing me off right now, and i feel like fuming over this. It's a 2 minute task, and it's been dragged out to 2 fucking hours and more into a new task/epic because why?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

For example: Don't know shit about folding tables, but there was an MSM "news" article talking about it? You outta be in charge of all things folding tables - tell people where to buy them, how to use them, how to manufacture them, which colors are going to cause the apocalypse, and, by golly, everybody better be all-in on those ideas because you got a feeling about it.

This is so weird. I haven't looked closer at this phenomenon to see if any of the people advocating for a meritocracy are spouting these things, but I'm pretty sure they're not. That being said, there are a. lot. of people that talk like this in america.
