No way. I have an alarm system and no camera monitoring. Having a camera of any kind could be used against you/me if let’s say, you had to smoke a nigger on your front porch. I have trail cams with SD cards. I change the batteries and clear the cards as needed.
Also, where I live, I could blow your ass away in my front yard, hook your corpse like a deer and drag you out across the the county and the buzzards and coyotes would get you before the law found out.

The real problem is if you're across the street neighbor has a ring doorbell then their camera is spying on you 24/7.

I'm not really sure how that's any more acceptable than if your neighbor had a camera with a zoom lens on their front porch pointed right at your front door. They're both equally invasive. Pointing your ring camera at your neighbor's house really should not be acceptable.

Hell, no! I have absolutely no video monitoring in my house. I only plug my video camera in when I have a teleconference, and I taped over the lenses on my phone.
