I’m sure everyone here knows about the November revolution in Germany, but just in case it was an almost exclusively jewish communist revolution against the German empire after the Great War which was led by Rosa Luxembourg. It resulted in the formation of the Weimar Republic which stood until hyperinflation and internal strife brought it to an end with the election of the NSDAP in 1933.

Been a big fan of McCarthy’s for years, and Blood Meridian is one of my favourite books of all time, so I’d been eagerly awaiting the release of his recently published two books, his first in 18 years. Recently finished the passenger and for reasons I couldn’t figure out Bobby had a tranny friend in that who was presented as the epitome of femininity. I’ve only started Stella Maris but already Alice, the child genius, has decried the inherent racism of IQ tests.

McCarthy is an 89 year old man who previously wrote dispassionately about large scale slaughters of injuns and child rape/murder in Blood Meridian, and similarly dispassionately about an outcast serial killer of women in Child of God, but even he has succumbed to this nonsense. Seems nothing is immune to this mind virus sometimes.

What is wrong with these people? I oppose immigration for purely ideological and cultural purposes, but it doesn’t have any direct negative impact on my life. This clown is living in a homeless shelter and tries to mow down people protesting to reduce the demand for the very housing this gobshite needs. I don’t think I will ever understand these people.

There have been growing anti-immigration protests in Ireland over the past few months. It really started in East Wall in Dublin with establishment and media dismissing it as a racist, far-right minority. It’s now grown too big to be ignored any longer, so the commies are starting to try and counter the movement. This is one of the commies, writing in one of the commie rags, to a usually very receptive commie audience. Even the lefties seem to be abandoning this nonsense and sympathising with the anti-immigration protestors. Hope can be a dangerous thing, but I fear I may be beginning to hope.

Not often to see a court visibly cope, but Enoch Burke has stood his ground and has clearly now left the courts embarrassed. He’ll probably be back in clink again soon when he defies the court order again, but it is rare and wonderful to see such a David vs Goliath victory in the courts.

Will likely be Wednesday before all results tallied, but reports this morning give the right wing coalition a final lead of 176-173 or 175-174 depending on what you read. A slender margin of victory but notable nonetheless considering the SocDems stranglehold on power there and the generally left leaning preferences of voters. Italy expected to swing right later this month with Fratelli d’Italia poised to make huge gains.
