Doctors aren't trying to help you if they call you fat. They're covering their ass. If they don't call you fat, you could die of being fat and then claim they didn't tell you.

I'm not sayning this because they are bad people. Many doctors are overweight and alcoholic as well. What I am saying is that it's an obvious thing to bring up. Most people know they are overweight or don't care. They just have to. Same thing for people who are clearly underweight but don't eat.

Doctors need to be educated by... non-doctors? We spent the last three years hearing "trust the science" with constant appeals to the authority of doctors. Now suddenly these same professionals are clueless about obesity, and need to be "educated" aka indoctrinated. By whom exactly? Some fat bitch on Twitter? Perhaps a politician in the pocket of the corn syrup lobby? Lupus affects fat women more than normal women, so add that to the education plan.
