Python is horseshit and Guido van Rossum is a nigger-loving nigger.     (programming)

All of my contact with Python is to fix broken stuff, where most of the time the fix is to start over with a better platform. Every time I end up having to use it, I find new failures in its design which are even more mentally retarded than the time before.

Reliance on white space is colossally retarded and it imposes the need for a `pass` keyword. Anyone who thinks it is possible to force programmers into writing legible code that way is a colossal retard.

Like most pretentious garbage it changes many classic reserved words, just enough that the number of complainers does not rise above half the users. `throw` is `raise`, `catch` is `except`, `null` is `None`, `true` is `True`, `false` is `False`. So much for keeping to a lowercase style when you can use capitals just because those are constants rather than keywords.

Inconsistently, it retains `==`, `!=` and `^` but changes `&&` to `and`, `||` to `or` and `!` to `not`.

Despite being popular for data processing, it cannot thread. It has something called threads, but this is only useful for I/O, because its "global interpreter lock" fundamentally can only run one line at any time. The autistically screeched response is to run extra processes, but its attempt at shared memory is also total ass. All the data popularity comes from being a front end to NumPy, which is written in C.

Lambdas? Only if the result can be written in one expression, no statements allowed.

Class constructor? Some nigger decided to name that `__init__`.

Anonymous object? It was supposed to work but doesn't, but you can `import types` and use `types.SimpleNamespace` instead, that works. Unless you want methods with statements in, then you need to use `def` and pass in all scope variables.

No pre-increment or post-increment. `+=` works, but you can't use it within a comparison test, because fuck you.

No `switch`, get used to `elif` nigger.

No do-while, make a flag or copy the fucking loop code.

No labels for `continue` and `break`, no numeric argument option, not even a fall-back `goto`. Guido himself said that this type of code is too complicated, by which he means he is too retarded to understand it, so fuck off and make a load of complicated flags and tests instead.

It doesn't even have the `===` operator like other languages with dynamic types, you have to test the types yourself... using `__class__` like a nigger.

No `static` keyword, but you can make a static method if you put `@staticmethod` on the line before. Genius.

You can have the ternary operator, but you have to put the test condition in the middle instead of at the front. Also `if` and `else` are reused for doing that, just in case you missed having a horizontal scroll bar.

That much is only what I have learned while otherwise trying to avoid Python.

Fuck

Most of the garden is planted as of this weekend     (preppers)

I am planting my garden to full capacity (for the first time) this year. That's a 1600 square foot plot. I'm planting it in order to give it away to neighbors and friends this summer. This is mostly to build neighborly relations in general but also if (when?) things go to shit. And it's already working. My two neighbors have already volunteered that "If you ever need anything..."

I have extended the invitation to my garden to friends as well and will be extending it to my landscapers (a useful and hard working lot).

Inventory:

2 regular tomato plants
2 cherry tomato plants
3 cucumber plants
3 watermelon plants
5 bell pepper (2 green, 2 red, 1 yellow)
4 yellow squash
175 corn (that would be 350+ ears at harvest)
175 green bean plants (companion planted)
150 snow pea plants

Fruit:

5 peach trees absolutely loaded with baby peaches ("buds") right now
1 apple tree, still small, loaded
1 crab apple tree, still small, loaded
1 grape vine (I stopped counting at 60 little baby bunches)

Herbs:

Sage
Italian oregano
chocolate mint (mint, but tastes like chocolate mint)

Planned additions for this summer:

2 more regular tomato plants
5 more bell pepper plants, sprouted from seeds saved last year
1 cantaloupe plant, sprouted from seed
4 eggplant plants, sprouted from seed
one catnip plant, just because I have a cat
2 black birch trees if I can get the seeds to sprout (good for wintergreen oil)

Cantaloupe and eggplant are from seed because no one is selling that shit this year.

I still need to get a yard/garden toolbox-whatever-it's-called to put shears/scissors in, plastic bags for people to use so they don't rip shit off the plant. I still need to print and laminate and then mount some signs identifying plants and noting when they should be ripe, how to tell if.

Edit: I'm using blossom set on all of it. It is a plant hormone that forces flowers to produce. All of them. Faster, larger.

Edit edit: For those curious, I have included in my soil prep:

A layer of mulch to amend the soil, hold in moisture, block weeds
Eggshells for calcium (prevents blossom end rot)
Bone meal
Blood meal
Potash

Vaxx-Regrets: The Masses Are Realizing They Made a Mistake and They’re Getting Scared     (americafirstreport.com)

https://americafirstreport.com/vaxx-regrets-the-masses-are-realizing-they-made-a-mistake-and-theyre-getting-scared/

The other day, I posted an article and did a show titled, “Dealing With Newly Awakened Anti-Vaxxers.” It was prompted by the prominent vaxx-nannies like Piers Morgan who used to ridicule vaccine skeptics but who are now singing a different tune. A few said I was too harsh. Most said I wasn’t harsh enough. But there was a third unexpected response that made me give a lot of thought to the future.

I received hundreds of correspondences from people who have been vaxxed and now they don’t know what to do. Some asked about treatment options to try to get “unvaxxed.” Others asked if there were legal avenues they could pursue to get compensated for damages. Unfortunately, there was no way to give them positive responses to either question.

https://www.the-sun.com/health/9218722/common-cold-blood-clot-disorder/

For the first time, scientists at the University of North Carolina have found a link between a life-threatening blood clotting disorder and an adenovirus infection.

Adenovirus is one of the most common respiratory viruses affecting both adults and children, causing cold and flu-like symptoms.

Viral infections, as well as autoimmune diseases and other conditions, can cause levels of platelets in the blood to drop - known as thrombocytopenia.

It's a good article as far as her life and work is concerned but of course it's dripping with normie anti-nazi hysteria.
