And likely heavily skewed while leaving out important parts. It's why I prefer to read original or near-original accounts of history.

Or folks like Asha Logos or Robert Sepehr, who do go off of original historical books. They can lead to more interesting materials to read. Which leads back to their works which leads to more materials....

History is an endless depth of interesting stories.
