Wasn’t there a campaign by nuns, nuns of all people, to buy Smith and Wesson shares and stop letting them design firearms? I love their guns, I own 4 and plan to buy more, but I’m suddenly getting a lot of ads for their knives and flashlights. Did those nutty nuns actually succeed?
No, they just have their own manufacturing facilities, so they can branch out beyond just firearms. By manufacturing I of course mean their own foundry, so they can make literally anything given the needed materials.
Of course not. They have decent knives though. Their recent firearm "innovations" have basically amounted to Kel-Tec clones of the their KSG and Sub-2000, but somehow even uglier, with quality control about on par. In a word: Meh. Their M&P rifles are still respectably priced newbie ARs, with respectable quality.
I do like their M&P 2.0 series because those triggers ain't half bad, with great resets, but damn, yet another striker-fired pistol is the last thing I need.
