Consider this guy. Famous for breaking of architectural conventions, friendly with Jews, probably a pedo...

It's fascinating to read about the adversity his tiny revolt against prevailing aesthetics caused in Austrian society. He argued it was more pure. More modest. Entirely reasonable. But also dangerously subversive.

In the end he advocated nothing less than to abandon tradition which is also the first step to nihilism. Of course people complained and wanted him out. This is what a society with something to lose acted like.

Have you noticed that all browsers have circle logos?     (technology)

A friend of mine just pointed out that all browsers have circle logos. I remember that only Netscape had a square logo. I think only Brave has a square logo now.

I hope it's not a conspiracy, and that not all these circle logo browsers are getting made by the folks who prefer circles instead of crosses.

Remember the game Tic Tac Toe? It was not just a funny game.

What do you think? Is it a coincidence?

https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/nvidia-announces-engines-worlds-ai-infrastructure-will-be-built-america-first-time

Nvidia outlined new initiatives aimed at strengthening America's chip manufacturing sector:

Nvidia is localizing AI chip and supercomputer manufacturing in the U.S. for the first time, partnering with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor, and SPIL.

Over 1 million square feet of manufacturing space has been commissioned for Blackwell chips and AI supercomputers in Arizona and Texas.

Mass production of these chips is expected within 12–15 months.
Total AI infrastructure by Nvidia could total $500 billion over the next four years.

it appears that china and taiwan are in trouble. btw, they are lying with the saying that they are bringing jobs back because most of these jobs will be done by robotica and AI

These estimates reveal that productivity has declined the most in areas with a larger fraction of construction in the urban core and with tighter housing supply constraints, especially in locations with long permitting times.

so gubmint bureaucracy increases the cost of homes? whodathunkit?
