Someone at work sent this out. I tried it, probably the best chicken noodle I've had. I did not use fresh rosemary, but some dried I had. I added a little extra, just in case. I also used white table wine instead of the sherry (who keeps that around...?). Anyways, it's pretty tasty. There's many more soups and desserts there.

Recipe trick: Freezing then grating chilis     (Recipes)

I learned this trick from a Gordon Ramsay recipe. You freeze a chili (jalapeno, serrano, whatever). It could take only half an hour depending on your freezer. Ours is the frost free kind and half an hour does it.

After your chili is frozen you grate it on a handheld cheese grater. Add the flakes to your recipe. It gives whatever you're making a nice kick but doesn't overwhelm it since the bits are so tiny and spread out through the dish.

I did this with the hamburger meat I prepared and it was great.

The secret to the Best Banana Bread is...     (Recipes)

...Freezing the fully ripened unpeeled bananas for a day or two, at least, then thaw and add to your recipe. I have stored bananas in my freezer for months and they thaw beautifully. Bonus, something about the freezing releases all those wonderful oils making the bread even more flavorful.

I have this recipe taped to my Red Star bread machine.

==

Banana Bread

2 medium sized bananas, peeled and mashed
2 eggs
1 Tbs Oil
2 Cups flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1-1/3 Cups Sugar (reserve 1 Tbs to sprinkle on top of dough)

Use the Quick Bread cycle and pull the bread about 12 minutes before the timer shuts off.

=

I try to have one or two loaves in the freezer at any given time as they make great last minute gifts. It's dangerously delicious :)

This youtuber is amazing, definitely a trad wife, I love watching and listening to her. She's almost got a Bob Ross (the calm painter guy) kind of vibe.

Can't wait to try this recipe.

https://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/bisquick-churros/18e7775d-8f12-400c-9944-78deebb320d6

Ingredients
Vegetable oil
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 1/4 Cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 Cup hot water

Steps
1 In 3-quart saucepan, heat oil (2 to 3 inches) over medium-high heat until thermometer inserted in oil reads 375°F.

2 In small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of the sugar and the cinnamon; set aside. In medium bowl, stir Bisquick mix, hot water and remaining 1 tablespoon sugar with spatula until dough forms.

3 Spoon dough into pastry bag fitted with 1/4-inch star tip. Pipe 5-inch strips of dough into hot oil. If necessary, cut dough with knife or scissors between each churro. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, turning frequently, until golden brown. Carefully remove from oil; drain on paper towels.

4 Immediately sprinkle churros generously with sugar-cinnamon mixture. Serve warm.
