In my career, I did time in Guatemala, Lebanon, the west bank, Moroccan ghettos. The world is shit and sometimes I understand suicide completely. I am a Christian but I also understand the futility of life on earth. And it's OK to think about it, at least I think, because sometimes it feels like the greater option, the better option, even the more pure option, more pure than trying to survive in this jungle hellscape we call life on earth. I re-read this Cormac McCarthy classic during my trip out west last year, and found many allegories to our modern kiked society. (Spoilers Ahead)

Given some of the very yelly opinions by some on this site, as well as in my real life, about how very weak Christians are and how bad Christianity is for whites, I have been contemplating the book again. Bear with me, this going to be an effortpost

Blood Meridian, written by Cormac McCarthy (No Country for Old Men, The Road) and published in 1985, is a brutal, poetic, and philosophical novel set in the American Southwest and Mexico during the 1840s. The story follows a teenage runaway known only as "the Kid" as he drifts through a landscape soaked in violence, pedophilia, moral sickness, homosexuality and weak religious figures. The Kid is portrayed as morally ambiguous, dumb, from a horrible background, disgusted by little and merely existing in the world like more of an animal. Eventually he joins the Glanton gang—a group of Indian scalp hunters who descend into indiscriminate killing to collect scalps they cash into the Mexican government in an effort by that country to wipe out natives. It's based on some factual events.

The novel explores the thin line between civilization and savagery, with one of its central figures, Judge Holden, embodying an obvious Satanic allegory-force of sexual violence, overt deception and nihilism. Against this, characters like the Kid show brief glimmers of conscience, but these are often weak and ineffectual.

A key thematic undercurrent is the portrayal of Christianity and Christian men as impotent in the face of overwhelming violence and chaos. Christian figures are often depicted as ineffectual, deluded, or hypocritical, unable to counter the moral void embodied by Holden. McCarthy presents a universe seemingly indifferent to Christian morality, where faith offers little protection or power.

But there is a moral to this tale. As The Kid becomes The Man in the last chapters, he is changed, encountering many figures whose lives he could effect positively. He could do good with what he has now, but he too falls into weak impotence and does nothing, takes no action to better himself, and chooses to "stay out of" situations where he could be a better person.

In his final chapter, The Man, faced with several chances to be morally righteous, declines to do so. At last, he is found by Judge Holden, who mocks him and declares his Satanic victory. The Man, cornered by Holden in the outhouse at a brothel is brutally raped and murdered by Judge Holden - the man knew he has abused children, animals and other men and women all throughout the novel. He never thought it would happen to him, and only gave small and ineffectual moments of protest throughout.

The moral of the story: if you experience the brutality and injustice of life, and still choose to shirk away from it and not stand up to the devil, he'll catch you and rape and kill you in that brothel outhouse just like he did everyone else. You don't get to escape alive and happy just because you ducked him a few times. You have to be a man, understand the immorality of your own inaction and change into a better person.

As a Christian, you have to stand up to the Satanic elements of society or Satan will simply get you in the end. You can't dodge him. You can't run. You have to fight.

"Moral law is an invention of mankind for the disenfranchisement of the powerful in favor of the weak." Holden says at one point. Up is down and down is up but you hear versions of this every day, even on this site, probably even in this thread eventually.

I'm kind of slow when it comes to legal stuff, but this seems to be a particularly interesting case unfolding.

Essentially, SCOTUS blocked the Trump administration's use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan gang members in a 1 am ruling. Now the Supreme Court rarely does this, I assume because they are old and sleep a lot and very rarely have any sense of urgency whatsoever.

Alito and Thomas were the only two dissenters. I have no idea why these Venezualans seem to be so valuable to so many branches of government. The Biden admin imported them and now the Supreme Court is bending over backwards to protect them, in a midnight decision right before a holiday Sunday. Anyone have a theory as to what's going on here?

It's not because they're stupid. It's because their mothers don't get them swimming lessons.

I grew up in trailer park country. We had no money. But goddammit if every single white trailer park kid didn't get swimming lessons, because that's what you do. Didn't matter if the mom was an alcoholic, drug addict or commie (like mine), you went to the Y and took Shrimps.

I ended up being good at it and played water polo at a big ten school.

Nigger mothers don't get their kids swimming lessons because they don't love their children like white mothers do. They dont experience parental love like we do. My white mother was a commie but she loved me and didnt want me to drown.

That's why black people can't swim. Because they are subhuman and their mothers don't think it's worthwhile to teach them basic life skills.

It's not because of poverty, lack of "access" or any other stupid fucking excuse. It's because they don't give a fuck about their children.

I have been reflecting quite a bit for Easter, specifically on my flaws and how I can be a better Christian in the coming year.

One of my greatest flaws is laziness/sloth. I have, in the past, tried to overcome this in the most human of ways - motivational videos, podcasts, whatever. Be your best self, get up at 4 am, I tried really everything. Sometimes I didn't recognize the overarching flaws of laziness and saw it more as something unrelated. My diet is bad, or there's some environmental factor that's making things too hard.

Now I'm a single mom (widow) so fatigue comes into my mind often. But that isn't it either. It's just that I'd prefer to be vertical, reading an old Stephen King book or watching a documentary about the Spanish American War.

Laziness helped me avoid many things. Then one day, honestly as I was driving and thinking for the umpteenth time about how to conquer my laziness, I realized it was a lack of faith that was keeping me a lazy sack of shit.

I had no faith that the things I was avoiding in life would work out. I had no faith the God I'd devoted my life to, in my mind, would actually help me through anything hard. I had no real faith Christ would lead me through any darkness wrought of a risk or chance I wanted to take but was too lazy to try.

Faith saved me, and brought me out of this Hell. And it was a little living Hell of inaction. Now, I can see when my sloth is overtaking me and ask God for both forgiveness and strength.

I believe this is one of the sins and issues that we face in modern society that makes life very difficult for white people. It's so easy to give in to laziness, because why try if we think our efforts won't work? But with God they will. With faith, they will. We can overcome the awful hand we have been dealt. We can take the temple back. Faith is the start, waking up is the start.

Feeling less guilt for your laziness is also the start. Laziness has been thrust upon you by Satan and a sad, sick society. Sometimes what you think is sloth is not as well, like being late to a stupid Jew-run job that you hate.

Have faith you are more.
