Not that I intend this as a sectant broadside. I'm the guy bringing the devil into the church after all. I'm hardly orthodox in my Protestantism myself at this point. But you don't need the Vatican.
A comment I just made:

"In this case the Protestants have it right. Christianity is about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You don't need holy mother church or its priest ridden bureaucracy headed by whatever old codger Vatican bureaucrats vote in."

I ask the AI about the Protestant concept of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ -

In Protestant theology, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ signifies a direct, intimate, and meaningful connection with God's Son, emphasizing a personal experience of salvation and spiritual growth. This relationship is cultivated through faith, prayer, and a conscious choice to follow Jesus' teachings, leading to a sense of knowing and being known by God.

Key aspects of a personal relationship with Jesus in Protestant theology:

Faith and Repentance:

Protestants often emphasize the importance of accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior through faith and repentance, marking the beginning of a personal relationship.

Prayer and Spiritual Growth:

A personal relationship is nurtured through consistent prayer, seeking guidance, and allowing God to shape one's life and character.

Personal Knowing and Being Known:

Protestants believe that a personal relationship with Jesus involves a deep sense of being known and loved by God, as well as knowing God's character and will for one's life.

Intimacy and Communion:

While not necessarily a physical presence, Protestants believe in an intimate and spiritual connection with Jesus, often described as a friendship or communion, says a post on Reddit.

Spiritual Transformation:

The personal relationship with Jesus is expected to result in a transformation of one's character, values, and behaviors, leading to a more Christ-like way of living.

Different Perspectives:

It's important to note that the emphasis on a "personal relationship" can be interpreted and expressed differently within various Protestant denominations, reflecting their diverse theological perspectives.

I ask the AI - was Palme assassinated by South Africa     (OccidentalEnclave)
submitted by Joe_McCarthy to OccidentalEnclave 2 weeks ago (+0/-0)
1 comments last comment...
While there was speculation and some evidence suggesting a potential South African connection to the assassination of Olof Palme, Swedish prosecutors concluded that the primary suspect was Stig Engström, a graphic designer, not an international conspiracy. They also stated that there was "not enough evidence" to implicate South Africa in the assassination.

Elaboration:

The South African Connection:

There were claims that South Africa, led by the apartheid regime, might have been involved in Palme's assassination due to his strong opposition to apartheid and his efforts to impose sanctions against the regime.

Stig Engström as the Suspect:

After years of investigation, Swedish prosecutors named Stig Engström, also known as "Skandia Man," as the most likely assassin.

No Direct Evidence of South Africa:

While the South African connection was a prominent theory, Swedish investigators did not find enough conclusive evidence to definitively link South Africa to the crime.

Closure of the Investigation:

Due to the death of Engström and the lack of further evidence, the investigation was closed in 2020, with the conclusion that Engström was the most likely perpetrator.

The start of hunting season was associated with increased rates of hunting and non-hunting related firearm incidents, most plausibly because of the increased availability of firearms and ammunition.

I have noticed that smartphones are now full of idiotic cameras. All smartphones I had needed just one camera for code scans. Now they look absurd with the back all filled with idiotic cameras.

I was able to find only Pixel 8 looking normal. Even if it has 2 cameras, they are still small and not annoying. All the other smartphones have more than 2, or even all back filled with multiple cameras.

Who the hell need this kind of useless junk?

These estimates reveal that productivity has declined the most in areas with a larger fraction of construction in the urban core and with tighter housing supply constraints, especially in locations with long permitting times.

so gubmint bureaucracy increases the cost of homes? whodathunkit?

Gimme shit I don't care. I'm reading Jurassic Park. I haven't finished but I'd like to see how it was all a setup and a mind fuck. Hammond ran a flea circus where he could convince people that there were fleas there. His "dinosaurs" are bastard biological engineering but the power of persuasion makes the people think they're seeing dinosaurs. Cooked up in a lab in plastic eggs. I feel it's a real testament to what's coming. Genetic manipulation.

I ask the AI about average male height in select countries     (OccidentalEnclave)

"The average height of a Swedish man is 180.5 cm (5 feet, 11.06 inches). This is also reflected as 180 cm (5 ft 10 7/8 in) in some sources."

"The average male height in the Netherlands is around 183.8 cm (6 ft 0.25 in). This makes Dutch men among the tallest in the world. The average height of Dutch women is 168.7 cm (5 ft 6.5 in)."

"The average height of an Irish man is approximately 5'10" (178 cm). However, some sources indicate a slightly higher average, such as 5'11" (180cm), placing Ireland in the top 20 globally for height. Irish men have become taller on average over the past century, with a significant increase in height from 1914 to 2014."

The average height for men in Russia is 176 cm (5 feet 9.1 inches). This is slightly taller than the average male height worldwide, which is 5 feet 7.5 inches.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

176 cm (5 feet 9.1 inches): is the average height for men in Russia.
176 cm (5 feet 9.1 inches): is also the average height of men in the United States.
176 cm (5 feet 9.1 inches): is slightly taller than the average worldwide male height of 5 feet 7.5 inches.

"The average height for men in Denmark is approximately 5 feet 11.61 inches (181.9 cm). This places Denmark among the countries with the tallest average male height globally."

"The average height for males in Mexico is around 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 meters). Some sources suggest a range between 5'4" and 5'7", with those of more European ancestry potentially being taller. The latest census data from INEGI indicates an average height of 1.70 meters (5'7") for males."

"In 2019, the average height of adult men in Japan is around 170.8 cm (about 5 feet 7 inches), and for women it's 159.5 cm (almost 5 feet 2 inches)."

I remember when my family used to look at slides in the projector on Christmas Eve. Still photos my grandma couldn't recognize anymore. We did it anyway. Tradition.

I remember the roller rinks with neon light cascading to the waved hardwood floors. The smell of popcorn and coin op games like Double Dragon. The songs of the 80s.

I remembered when my folks rented a VCR and King Kong. First movie I ever saw with special effects. I remember the place long white walls and it was close to the center.

I grew up in a largely White suburban neighborhood. We had a block parties on a regular a test of mettle for the cooking men. My school was about two blocks away. We had festivals there. Cake walks and all.

I took a ring pop out to a girl I loved in elementary school. Her name was Jamie and she lived on a farm right out of town. I gave her all my cool pencils. She was a farmer girl. Tan with blonde hair.her folks owned many acres.

My buddy Eric liked what would become semi simulator but this was blocky roads and basic interface.

We had a loft for reading time. It was filled with cushions and reading was expected for at least an hour.
