I'm Going to Sleep

submitted by __47__ to TellTalk 1 weekApr 21, 2025 22:45:02 ago (+13/-0)     (TellTalk)

I remember when my family used to look at slides in the projector on Christmas Eve. Still photos my grandma couldn't recognize anymore. We did it anyway. Tradition.

I remember the roller rinks with neon light cascading to the waved hardwood floors. The smell of popcorn and coin op games like Double Dragon. The songs of the 80s.

I remembered when my folks rented a VCR and King Kong. First movie I ever saw with special effects. I remember the place long white walls and it was close to the center.

I grew up in a largely White suburban neighborhood. We had a block parties on a regular a test of mettle for the cooking men. My school was about two blocks away. We had festivals there. Cake walks and all.

I took a ring pop out to a girl I loved in elementary school. Her name was Jamie and she lived on a farm right out of town. I gave her all my cool pencils. She was a farmer girl. Tan with blonde hair.her folks owned many acres.

My buddy Eric liked what would become semi simulator but this was blocky roads and basic interface.

We had a loft for reading time. It was filled with cushions and reading was expected for at least an hour.

Sounds like a nice childhood.

It was the best. High trust. My neighbor gave us a sand pit. Her son was named Roman and he'd come every so often.

We were the people that rallied for a dinner at the jcpenny.

We had to be careful using our sand pit 'cos cats pooed in it and hid their mess.

I got to grow up with niggers and spics, getting in fights every week or so, and felt constant danger since 3rd or 4th grade. If anyone's garage door got left open, spics with gardening trucks would be driving around at night to raid the garage and steal tools and shit. I never got the all White neighborhood till a few years ago, and man, that woulda been pretty cool to have as a kid.

The sad thing is that fewer and fewer whites will experience this. Indeed, there were fewer in your generation that experienced such an upbringing compared to your parents' generation. And those before them.

Each white generation has been getting it worse and worse, taken from us by jews and sheep.

Sad.

"Tan with blonde hair."

There were so many tan healthy looking girls that. Almost not of them were fat. If there was a fat girl in school everybody knew she was the fat girl. 98% of all girls were thin and healthy and they went out and they got their suntan which gave him the vitamin d with kept them healthy and they looked great and they knew not to eat too much. And they all wanted to find a boy and they giggled about finding a boy.

And I look today at the young women going to school junior high and high school and almost all of them are hugely overweight and unappealing to anybody who grew up in the age of when girls were good looking. I honestly don't even blame guys for being gamers all day because this very little to be distracted by the fat girls of today. And most of them I don't know they seem to hate guys or something or they're just very stupid and don't know they're fat because they eat too much.

you look at the people going to concerts in the '70s and '80s and how all the girls were thin they were thin enough that you could lift them up on their on your shoulders and hold them up so they could see the concert stage better. You couldn't do that with most girls today you break your back.

And you know I guess it was around the middle of the '80s that this whole false doctor myth about you've got to avoid the sun things started to destroy the health of America. So no one got any healthy tans anymore no one got enough vitamin d and everybody's eyes went bad and they all look like pasty muffins.

And of course then because they weren't getting enough Sun so they didn't get enough serotonin so they weren't feeling good and they weren't feeling happy then they had to go on their antidepressants when all they really needed to do was go outside and open their eyes and the Sunshine for an hour and get some serotonin in their brain.

So... Did you manage to wife up Jamie? Or at the very least go out on a single date?

No. I did take her on a a proper date. I was in elementary school. We went to a place that was high end for the city.
