The trash being spewed out was just horrible. It was a hybrid between sit around and do fuck all whilst your country burns and dont take matters into your own hand because God is in control. Defend yourself against a criminal? congrats the love of Jesus isn't in you. It's best to talk to the criminal instead, assuming he doesn't kill you. Criminal murders your wife and kids? Just forgive him, because that's what Jesus would have done. Have a problem with local government because they are blatantly robbing you? Fuck you, do nothing, and pray to God. Every. Single. Point was horribly wrong and contorted completely away from the meaning of Christ. To understand why this was so rage inducing, i came from a church that was very anti Israel/anti jew. In their eyes God chose the people of Israel as a way to fulfill prophecy, but did NOT like them as a people. Just like you can be chosen for a job, you can be chosen by God, either as a prophet or individual to fulfill His will. God himself even called the jews stiff necked individuals, and had to try really hard not to wipe them out over and over.

Salvation belongs to all who believe in Christ, so you can't be selected by God to discard other people who also believe in God. Either God looks after all his children, in which case the kikes can only be seen as a subset of individuals, who make up the totality of followers, or God doens't look after anyone at all. Even without going into the deep weeds, the entire premise falls flat on its face. Good luck discussing this view point in NY apparently, they support Israel or they go to hell.

Also I love how the pastor in question had some sublime bullshit story that never actually happened to explain every point, as if a one off incident marks the totality of humankind. These people are just the masters of cherry picking one off crap that's never part of the trend. If God is against violence, why is the entire Bible and the OT filled with violence? If he's against race mixing, why are there tribes at all? Wouldn't it make sense to have a one world tribe, and forsake the pesky naming conventions? If races and lineage didn't matterm why bother having the lineage of Jesus marked out? Why would the pharisees mention Abraham or being of his tribe if race was just a social construct?

Why did Paul talk to Gentile and jew, and not just "people"? They absolutely butchered Galatians 3:28 by claiming that since Paul states there is neither Jew nor Gentile (part 1), there are no races. Then they completely fucking ignore part 2 which says "in Jesus". There are no races and genders in the spirit of Jesus, which is NOT the same thing as there are no races and genders (end). Again, good luck trying to sort out the nuance between those two statements to someone from NY apparently.

These engineering PHDs are not very smart but they sure are extremely arrogant and self righteous assholes. The one at my workplace almost broke an entire production server due to his incompetence. He decided to push out a new codebase, completely untested to one of our servers. And I quote "it deployed without errors, so were good". When asked how he tested this, he couldn't answer, heck he didn't even know how to run the fucking thing locally. He essentially blind wrote code and pushed it without giving a fuck about the ramifications. Then he lied about what he did by implying no build errors = no testing required.

In terms of smartness, the guy isn't that smart. He can't just look shit up, so he constantly asks everyone else dumb as shit questions. We end up spending absurd amount of times telling him how to do things, because he personally believes doing research is beneath him. Ironically when he was doing his PHD, his manager had the same problems. Refused to listen, thought he knew better, arrogantly did things his way even when they were clearly not good measures.

He recently spent close to 3 weeks working on something. One of our interns got it working in 2 days. It worked just fine, and it did what we wanted it to. PHD man was so livid, he tried to erase the intern's code from our repos. Apparently when he was doing his PHD he got in massive trouble for falsifying data because he hated that his model didn't fit the data. Instead of realizing the assertion he made was wrong, he tampered with the data until it fit his preconceived ideas. We compared the two solutions and found the PHD solution would overrun costs by thousands of dollars of months and had lots of latency issues. But when it comes to academic, ive found most PHDs give zero fucks about minute issues like monthly cost, latency, architectures, maintenance, cleanliness. They have this idea of fuck it, get it out the door, and have someone else fix it later.

If he wasn't so cozy with upper management, he would have been shitcanned long ago. As if the retards couldn't get bad enough, NYC wanted to add a second congestion pricing on top of the tolls. So to get into one of the boroughs (I think Manhattan?), one would pay toll (15$) + Congestion pricing (35 - 50$ per entrance, throttled based on the time and volume). Never mind, the city is still broke as shit, and the money raked in would be a drop in the bucket of government spending.

Now the MTA is claiming that they have a state mandate to have a congestion pricing to fulfill their budget needs for the current filing period .... just wtf?! This doesnt even make sense since the congestion pricing was created this year, and is a very new legal requirement. So a legal mandate that was whipped out of someone's ass has been decreed as required because ... why exactly? Nobody can answer these basic questions of course, so it comes down to idiot retards telling other retards to do retard things whilst their retard city burns to the ground.

Why the fuck did i leave my old state .... biggest problem i had was rush hour being composed of some lost cows. And my family, whilst i want the best for them, will keep voting in this dumb shit, and they will keep wondering why the fuck their cost of living goes up. When I look at the military ads, and the recruiting issues, trannies, gays, etc, nothing screams powerful or mighty. If we wanted a fighter, we already had a few prior, and it serves no purpose in the age of drone warfare. So what was the point of it? Outside sucking in billions in cash, it's a useless rock. And that's assuming it doesn't crash into the ground after takeoff. And yet, here we are. Spending billions on what amounts to very overprice, but cheap trash.

I saw the palantir commercial about drone warfare being used to take out boats. It was laughable. This is from the same military that couldn't take down a weather balloon, and got their asses handed to them by cheap, thousand dollar Houthi drones. But now I have to believe they are an all seeing eye that can pre emptively strike on the enemy before they know we're there. And Palantir will goose its stock and fuck off once people get wise. What makes it more frustrating is it isn't Palantir's money, its the taxpayer. So the taxpayer gets fucked based off these idiotic ideas that will never come to fruition.

I used to own a business that did consulting. I finally got a new offer making more money, and i shut down the LLC. When I factored in all the costs of the LLC, I was losing money left and right. Than there's the compliance, state filings, estimated quarterly filings, penalties, S-corp withholdings, social security filing, and who the hell knows. Even though the LLC was making good money, it simply wasn't worth the headache anymore. I found a job, which can only be described as by God because it beats out what my LLC was making by over 50% and it's full time. My accountant advised i just shut down the LLC and go down the full time route instead, especially for the rate new company gave me. Bidenomics everyone!

Modern day Christianity, as in Church based, no research, go to Church and do no thinking for yourself at all is downright suicidal. I had been talking to multiple pastors, and the topic of my parents came up. They told me I am obliged to honor my parents (Exodus 20:12), and that ignoring them, or not talking to them or keeping my distance is verboten. Instead I should open up and extend the invitation to them to maintain a relationship with them. They never explained why this is, or what benefit to myself i get from having such pieces of shit in my life, but Jesus forgave, so I have to forgive too.

The thing is I can understand the concept of what they were trying to say, however the entire problem lies in the delineation of the word "brother". If we assume a brother to be a brother in Christ, than per the book of Mathew I owe nothing to my family. It even says to treat them like heathens if they don't respond (MATTHEW 18:17). And Lord knows my family has tried very hard to talk some sense to my mom and dad, to absolutely no avail.

However, the book of Mathew also says to forgive indefinitely against brothers who sin. This is very confusing, because really, what category do i put my parents in? My mom literally brags she used to do witchcraft and dived into the occult, so not exactly a woman you want to mess with. And since they can't be classified as believers in Christ, it seems the modern day Church is applying broad strokes to heathens, which also goes against the Biblical scriptures of Matthew 6:5-8.

The second problem is the tolerance of sin as an extension of forgiveness. My mom is a trash bucket, and talking about her s if she's not, is in my eyes the sin of lying. The woman got great enjoyment threatening us as kids with knives, guns, trying to feed us hard drugs ( definitely hardened us for sure at the time) and insinuating she would kill us one day. She even tried to bait family members to try and kill each other by pitting them against each other.

Per the church again, I should live and let live, and just pretend all those horrible memories never happened. But they did, so how is me pretending to forget they happened going to help a relationship that clearly is dead? I don't even harbor hatred towards my parents, i just dont want them in my life. But the church is trying desperately to force me to keep them there
