You don't get to have the freedoms of free speech without the discomfort of hearing opinions you may not agree with. I didn't agree with voat 11 years ago but actual free speech was very very important to me - I was a liberal arts grad lib, kek. Now I live in the country, own lots of guns, and have a wife and white babies. Some things take time and maybe the guy will come around. If nothing else, take solace that he will be judged justly by the Lord and know that his fate is no longer your responsibility.
I think we have more in common than you might believe. I also believe that free speech is a shell of its' former self. The difference is that if there are people that break laws and are predatory in nature, they deserve to be justly tried and if found guilty, publicly hanged for all to see. If laws are broken, they need to be enforced. System should call up the authorities and give all of that guys info. Ip, location, Alts, everything. Then, get the guy actually arrested rather than a shitty ban for 2 days.
I believe that direct threats are actually against many laws so that should be enforced- but based on the required and applicable laws, not because aome panties got bunched. Free speech only has limits of where the law requires them, otherwise it isn't free speech.
