I really can't understand why anyone would think that flooding the country and destroying our infrastructure would be a good idea. Is there any argument that explains the rationale? The algo is great, it shows stuff I want, I can block shit if I want and then I get board after a few pages and do something else. I thought it was all garbage new hype, which it is. But I guess they were all gridlocked trying to drive out of the same town at the same time and the fire closed in on the lot of them. Who would have thought a fire would be so catastrophic, being that the whole place is a fucking volcano.

I guess he saw the other marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima. He never spoke to anyone about the war so I don't have much info. I have his dog tags (issued in early ww2) and a few other trinkets. There is a bar with one star on it.
