I dunno about that. I think people have to be trained or 'socially programmed' to be lonely. So it can feel real, but isn't necessarily a natural phenomenon.

I remember when I took acid at a bad time in my life. it spiraled into hell. I started having these nightmares on a regular basis. I was dead and I was a ghost. I would be in the room with my mom and sister and they were crying cause I was dead. I would try to reach out to them scream at them anything but I couldn’t touch them, they couldn’t hear me. I would just watch them cry. I realized this was gonna be the rest of eternity, wandering the earth completely alone. I would get this feeling in my soul that hurt so much i can’t even explain the pain. So deep and so strong. It hurt more than seeing loved ones die. Then I would wake up with an anxiety attack.

It got bad lol. I remember for 3-4 months feeling like life had no point. I was constantly thinking about how we’re all gonna die. I would sleep 3 hours a night then have those nightmares. It got to where I kept a bottle next to the bed. I would drink when I woke up. Dark times.

My wife’s brother killed himself Christmas Day, same year as their mom passed from lung cancer.he had a great core of friends and family. We all missed the signs.

Many here will use malice to distract from the severity of this, but we have lost some goats to suicide.

Those are just two that I met, and that i visited their graves to pay my respects. More of us need to get to know each other when possible.

There isn't many of us, all of us have something to offer each other, and I get it some of us don't like one another for whatever reason.

However odds are that at least someone this next year on this site will kill themselves and all it could have taken was a little friendship.
