I've lurked for a while on this version of voat. I used to participate on voat.co and I have finally gotten the ability to make an account on here. I'm looking forward to participating again.
I haven't been able to spot a pattern, but it only seems to affect comments near the top of the page on posts with more than one screen of comments. Whenever I try to up or downvote any of those comments or their children the page resets and the vote is erased.
This applies to the default talk.lol theme, not voat mode. I'd like to do one for each holiday (don't mark my words). The site will go back to default when the holiday is over.
We've officially been online for over a week. I just want to thank you all for checking out the site. I had no idea what would happen after launch. Things were rough for the first few days, a couple critical issues, but I got them ironed out and things have been pretty smooth for the most part. I know there is a lot of other issues to address, particularly in ux/ui department. I hope to get to them all in the next month or two.
I think this new site has a bright future. One of the major advantages imo is the fact it was written in php. People talk shit about it, but it's easier to deploy, brings hosting costs down, makes it easier to find a host (if need be). It just made sense for this project, and I think it will be a lot more resilient than voat was. But time will tell.

In other news there is a new gore tag. It's not written in the rules yet but gore content should be labelled as such. Examples of gore include excessive blood, limb removal, mutilation.

I've recently hit the skids and it sucks. I fight back as best as I can but I'm losing the battle. The guys and girls here are my some of my only friends. I tried redpilling my friends and that caused me to lose them. My ex used to beat on me and as soon as I punched back guess who went to county? I live in a place where all my neighbors are black or speak Spanish. I used to be a an IT manager and the "golden standard" of buyers by the head boss. I'd dine it for close to 20 years. Got into a car accident, tboned, lost all my paid time off so everytime I got sick or have an animal die I got a write up. I WAS THE FUCKING REASON THAT PLACE STILL EXISTED. I got with an old boss to help negotiate the buyout. Saving tons of jobs. That motherfucker basically turned over the store to liberal women. It'd still doing well but I wouldn't want to work there anymore.
