Louisiana 'cannibal', 19, who lured gay men using Grindr and planned to keep body parts as 'mementos, trophies and food' is indicted on federal hate crime, kidnapping and attempted murder charges

• Chance Seneca, 19, allegedly used gay hookup app Grindr to lure men to his home

• In June of last year, he coaxed Holden White, 18, to a residence in Lafayette; Seneca stabbed and strangled White and attempted to cut off his hands

• White miraculously managed to survive, but spent days in a coma and nearly a month in hospital

• On Thursday, the Justice Department indicted Seneca on federal hate crime, kidnapping and attempted murder charges

• They claim Seneca 'intended to dismember and keep parts of White's body as trophies, mementos and food'
