I already know my son’s dad was an idiot (yes, he’s a good dad and very much so in his life, we were just VERY different people, as you’ll understand) but this one takes the cake. He is a painfully retarded virtue signaler and should be a politician, to be quite honest (he has that kind of vibe—painfully fake and formal). I pulled up to get my son today for Easter Sunday (his weekend, my year for the holiday) and see a very large Ukrainian flag flying from his garage 🤦🏻‍♀️ When my son got in the car I politely asked him if his stepmom was Ukrainian. He seriously took my son to a BLM March in the summer of 2020, and I lost my shit. He got him vaccinated without asking me (and my son wanted it). Bottom line, goats—he keeps doing terrible, fucked up things to my son. Period. What should I do? My kid is a teenager and loves his dad so much. It sucks, because this is the time in his life he needs his dad the most, and his dad is an NPC. I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place.

It's not like I think Trump is "our guy" at this point, but clearly Biden didn't win. Like...everyone knows that. It's not even debatable. But to make it worse, we're all suffering for it now. People are starting to be starved.

So how, in the name of all that's holy, is anyone seriously sitting there thinking "well we got to get Trump back in there." We already did that, and they just stole it in front of all of us. How can anyone be sitting there thinking we have to give two shits about the next election when we already won it and it was just stolen?

It goes beyond complacency at this point, and into the realm of mass mental illness. Clearly normal politics is out of the window. So someone explain the "we have to win the midterms then get Trump back in" mindset to me, because it's beyond my ability to understand at this point.

Edit*: so fuckin crap, I talked to a mutual friend, basically my buddy has been stealing from everyone he knows and has turned into a massive piece of crap. And they also think he's probably on drugs, so he is literally taking people's money to fix cars, just ghosting everyone, and then locking his gate so no one can get in... I'll write him a letter since he is checking the mail but I guess if he doesn't call me I'll just have to report the car stolen.

Got a weird issue, one of my friends has gone missing. He's a mechanic and works from home. He was working on my car and two other guys cars. I texted him 3 months ago about how it's going on my car, he said he's working on two other cars before mine, and he'll let me know. Last month I was going to fly down and visit, I texted him and he didn't reply, but I also had my flight cancelled the next day so I figured he just didn't reply or whatever, but he always does. He's been helping my mom out ever since I moved out of CA, for years now with anything. I've known him for 20+ years. He always replies to my texts or my mom.

Anyway, my car is still in his driveway. My mom went and asked the neighbors if they have seen him, and they said they haven't seen him for a month. He has a shop in his backyard, and the neighbors pretty much hate him because he is always cutting, grinding or welding all day, all he does is fab stuff or fix up classic cars. So they were happy he stopped, but now that she asked where he is, they also wonder, because he would literally work every single day for I think 3 years now since he built that shop.

Anyway, I've checked the CA arrest database but still haven't had any luck. He and his brothers are estranged, they literally hate each other and his mom only comes by once in a while and I don't have her number. His social media hasn't been updated for a while either. I tried looking up coroner records but I have to have a birthdate and all this other crap, plus its more of a get a death certificate rather than check if someone is dead. Any other ideas?
