I got to talking to an elderly woman yesterday. She is aware that things are going to shit, but has no idea how to respond. She had a lot of questions and I told her to get ready for terrible times. She was surprisingly responsive to my suggestions, but made the statement that I've been hearing a lot from people: "I'm glad I'm as old as I am." (Translation: I'm glad I'll be dead soon.)
