"I told them it would be much worse than anything they know, anticipated, or were told, that the United States makes the best and most lethal military equipment anywhere in the World, BY FAR, and that Israel has a lot of it, with much more to come - And they know how to use it." What are the implications for Australia?

By Louise Miolin

Malcolm Davis is a senior data analyst at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute.

He told Nadia Mitsopoulos on ABC Perth Mornings there could be economic repercussions for Australia if conflict escalates following Israel's attack.

Dr Davis is concerned about our oil supply.

"We are highly dependent on Middle Eastern oil for our economy," he said.

"If that oil supply was threatened or cut off in any way, that would seriously effect our economic stability.

"It should be a lesson to Australia and its leaders that we should not be dependent on distant critical resources."

Goats

Today could be the turning point in Mankind's time on this planet. None of us know how this conflict in the MiddleEast will end. It could be a "Countdown to Looking Glass". It is a time for all of us to heal the wounds in our personal relationships so that if need be we can face the sun with pure hearts knowing that our dust will settle on some distant star and one day may reap new life in a new beginning. Be strong, Goats, these could be some of the most difficult times we'll ever face.

God bless you all and God bless America.

How clever is Israel! If you can't destroy the machine, get its operators: "The [Iran Nuclear] facilities use a specialized, hardened concrete – and some of the underground sites are connected to tunnels with 90-degree turns, adding another layer of complexity"     (edition.cnn.com)

Israel is planning to carry out multiple rounds of attacks against Iran, an Israeli source told CNN.

“This is not a one-day attack,” the source said.

The Israeli government saw a window of opportunity to carry out this attack, both militarily and diplomatically, the source added.
