I had this life for about 5 years. It was very nice at times but at other times it was solitary and boring. I never really connected with the local community (there were many crazy leftists, albeit they were louder than they were popular) and the rest of my family was hours away and it was hard to get my friends to visit. It was also difficult to be holed up with my wife 24/7 because there wasn't much for her to do outside of the house. Winter nights were especially difficult as there wasn't anything to do except watch TV. Not saying don't do it, there were a lot of rewarding elements, but go live in a house like this for 6 months to see if you like it first.
Go hike up a big mountain. The trek will give you clarity and your next steps may become obvious. If you are lonely I would recommend a road trip, you will meet so many people doing this.
I've run into eastern browns,
tigers and highland copperheads. Had a copperhead swim right past me while tubing down a river because someone hit a bush with an oar. Almost stood on one once too, followed by my dog who almost made the same mistake (it was coiled up behind a log). They are pretty chill though, surprised to see them on a most deadly list. Eastern browns are the most scary they move fast in a really satanic way and will bite you if they can.

It will not be possible to move money unless you have cash and if you want a lot of cash just try to withdraw it from the bank and see what they say.
In this situation guns and ammo have a lot of value for obvious reasons, as does anything you can use to barter. Precious metals are good because they have an intrinsic value, they are easily divisible and are easy to hide. But you will need the guns and ammo to protect them.

I had to give a statement to the police about what I saw. The female cop lowered her voice and told me that maori's are the dumbest criminals out of them all.
She went on to tell me a story about a maori guy that committed a robbery, then caught the train and the cameras on the train showed him with the stolen goods.
He served his sentence, got out and did another robbery and was caught exactly the same way the second time.
Was quite a good learning experience for me at that age.
