I would have been more inclined to believe the story if there had been any reference to a desire to homeschool the kids.

When the niggers in charge of the local school system (NC) decided that all three of my boys were ADHD and wanted to put them all on ritalin, that was the breaking point for us, and we made the decision that she would quit her job, stay home, and homeschool the kids, and we would just have to rearrange our lives to fit that model.

Seriously though, is a trad wife even possible these days? It used to be they would spend most of their mental energy on raising the kids and farm animals right. Or flocking with the local murder of housewives who patrolled their own. When something went wrong the rumor machine eventually let it slip out to the rest of town and everyone turned against her. They were kept in rules where they could concentrate inwards. Jealousy of the other women kept them busy working on the household and everyone benefited.

Now clothes are washed by machines and everything available with the push of a button. The children are shipped off to programming camps during the day. Without a specific direction or goal I can only see that situation getting worse.

Something like this between couples who have been married that long should be a mutual decision. As usual, the wife made her own mind up and then just expected her husband to fall in line. Women who do things like this NEVER do a good job of explaining themselves well enough, and then the situation just gets worse.

I'd respect either decision from the husband, if he were to leave or stay. It sucks for the kids, but they're sadly caught in the middle.
