I dont know why, but I sort of have a soft spot for this industry and think it's pretty cool. Like the old Sears mail order houses.
I heard modular homes are a lot better than they used to be too. And cheaper. I dont really want to wage slave for 30 years to pay my mortgage. If I didnt have to pay mortgage every month, Id be able to save money, build up my homestead, and maybe even take a much needed yearly vacation.
I trusted my dad and step mom because theyre wealthy and have a better understanding of this shit, so instead of a modular home, I built a 3 bed 2 bath starter home on my 3 acres for 200k with all of my 50k down. So making payments on the remaining 150k.
If not a modular home, I could have gotten a really nice double wide mobile home for like 60k.
I just wish I had made a different choice so that Id have more expendable income to save or invest.

Still hurting a lot but feelin a lot better. I was very scared they would have complications, id lose a lot of blood, and was especially scared that they would move me to an operating table before putting me under anaesthesia because my right leg and hip was pretty much unmoveable and hurt like a goddamn sonofabitch when They had previously moved me to my bed when I arrived. I was yelling and cussing, almost crying. Didn't cry tho cuz crying is gay. Lol.
It was crazy. I was in the prep room, talked to the DR and anaesthesiologist and nurses. I blinked, then opened my eyes and I was in a different room. Asked the nurse "am I still in the prep room?" and he goes "no this is the recovery room."

Its nice to not be so afraid of moving, and to look down and see my foot in its normal place instead of a foot to the left of where it should be.
I sure do love morphine.
Gonna be a long recovery.

Edit. Cleared for outpatient PT already. I've been hurt worse before. Doctors and nurses seem surprised.

The song that got me into the genre. Heard this shit and was like "damn I need more"

With this new arrival of drone warfare, suicide drones, grenade/bomb droppers, etc, suddenly the "old school" ideas of recoilless, caseless, or rocket guns/ammo seem a lot more practical for the purpose of mounting on small lightweight cheap drones for low recoil, accurate fire for anti-drone drones or anti-personnel drones.
That way they wouldnt be limited to 1 grenade/bomb drop or 1 suicide bomb.
