Decades ago we did get snow flurries in Columbia County, I was a kid at the time so that was the best day ever. The last few years we had a few high-20s nights, I ran a heat lamp out to the chicken coop and put up tarp since mine was built with ventilation in mind. But so far my kids have only seen crunchy frost and frozen puddles. I would love for them to see a snowfall like I did.
I'm not but I have a friend who is a merchant marine and goes out for several months at a time and then comes home for ~6 weeks. My numbers might be off but as far as I know it works for him and he has a wife and child. His home base is in Vegas which has a HCOL and he's been at it over 15 years. I also knew people who worked seasonally in Alaska (travelled there for work) but they were single and lived frugally in the off-season.
So did she bristle at what you said or how did it go? Dating has to be beyond hard right now. The last person I met that was on the same page as me, I married. Six years later, we have 4 kids together. I want this for every Goat. You have to get these conversations out of the way early so you don't waste your time. It sucks to have someone you like and get along with but you disagree on major subjects. Truly it was a blessing that ex's didn't work out because there's no way the relationship would have survived the hoax, steal, and all the other bullshit we've been through. Can you imagine being married and the corona hysteria happens and your wife wants to vax and mask your kids? That would be a nightmare.

I lost many friends when I was "outed" as a Trump supporter in 2016. It sucks. I would just mute her until she calms down. Right now she's just lashing out. The best thing you said was that you still love her even if you have different opinions. Hopefully she'll cool off and apologize or at least stfu.
Years ago they didn't have a name for it yet, but since then enough people also were hospitalized that they came up with a clinical term. I went through it too, but didn't go to the hospital. Super hot showers or a heating pad on the stomach also help if you ever go through it again. The heat does something to the vagus nerve, if I remember correctly. Once it happens, your can get it again when not even smoking that much. I had to quit completely. I still wonder if it's the THC that causes it or pesticides or something else, but either way I never want to go through that again. Hangovers or withdrawals of any kind are simply not worth it anymore.
They likely squashed his uprising by getting him tied in with that Italian model wife-handler. I heard they've separated recently, so who knows if he's going to return to Def Con status.
Oh man, the regret he must be feeling. So considering treasure hunting and different entities getting involved, what are the odds the landfill company will do their own excavation effort?
The power came back on insanely fast so I made biscuits and sausage just because. Then we went to the beach hoping to find a square grouper but it was already picked clean ),:
A dugout would be top-tier. But kayaks are for the flooded city streets and river rats. Jon boats for fishing, pontoons for boomers with their grandkids, and cruise ships for the morbidly obese.
lol that's a good one. The story reminds me of when we took our lab down to the Suwannee to throw sticks for her and some guy came trying to look tough with his pitbull. My dog was doing what labs do, diving in to get the sticks and this guy was telling at his pit to "got in there" and the dog was looking all bewildered and sheepish like "no way, man". I don't even like pits but that was funny
>pack up and move back north
Hallelujah, it's a miracle. Tampa Bay hasn't felt right since covid, when everyone moved in and brought their asshole road rage with them. You can barely find a spot to park at Publix anymore and forget going to Clearwater or St Pete Beach. I miss when the snowbirds used to leave.
Really, I don't mind hurricanes. I like when it gets quiet for once. During Irma, I saw a pack of coyotes run wild up the street. The first night before everyone cranked up their generators, you could see the stars again.
Lovebugs, completely harmless but can take the finish off your car if you don't wash them off. People used to put bras on the front of their cars but I haven't seen that in a long time.
I couldn't finish, but there's already been convenient fires on our food manufacturers and now this... I don't know how you could manufacture a hurricane though
Last year when Idalia came through the Big Bend, the word was that they hadn't had a storm of that magnitude in 100 years. It was a Cat 3. Then Hurricane Debbie hit in the spring, in nearly the same area, and just now a third and much worse hurricane hit, Cat 4. We recognize patterns, right? It's highly suspicious to me. The Big Bend is also all farming country, mostly cattle, hay, and chicken farms. They also grow watermelon, cotton and peanuts. When Idalia hit, the power was out for weeks and the way they grow chickens is packing them in these long narrow sheds with no doors or windows save for giant ventilation fans. No power, no ventilation so the neighbor nearby lost his whole crop. You could smell the decay for miles. If I'm not mistaken, these farmers also contract with big suppliers like Purdue who have them running on razor thin margins. I don't know how they're going to bounce back after 3 losses in one year. .. .
I don't know why they picked him. He was popular as a love song singer for young women 20 years ago. I don't think he has the appeal with Jerry Garcia fans. Plus his voice sucks

It got down to 34 last night by us (N FL) so there was frost on the ground. That's the closest we get to having snow.

True story. Vapes and edibles are so strong now that people are getting cannabis hyperemesis and belly pain. Concentrates are no joke.

Likely. Ordinarily he would be shielded like the others. I wonder what made him a target, an "example"?
