Y'know, I really love when people use graphs and statistics that massively accentuate their talking points while misleading people looking at them.
Like when the number of black-on-white murders is stacked on top of white-on-black murders in order to make it look worse. Or when the number *more* deaths is counted, over a long period to period of time, instead of talking about percentage differences.
It would be much more germane to say that the number of blacks killing whites is about double whites killing blacks, despite being a much smaller percentage of the population. But instead you have to produce shit like this that people can point at and say "this is manipulative".
The guy had been flying for 20 years IIRC, and helicopters don't have much tolerance for mishandling. I think hardware issue is more likely and there have been allegations of mis-maintenance in this company.
Also, don't call me Shirley. (Surprised no one else noticed...)
They were wondering how this could happen, because they completely forgot that a chatbot isn't a thinking creature.
Companies are now putting problem-solving modules of various sorts into their AIs so they can actually do things like math. The problem is, sometimes these modules aren't available for certain problems, or the bot fails to recognize they're being asked to solve a problem. When this happens it can't even understand "I don't know" is an appropriate answer; instead it will put together a response in the format of responses to similar questions it's been trained on, without even attempting to determine if it's providing an answer or if that answer is appropriate for the questioned asked.
An AI isn't a person, it's an NPC. It doesn't think.
I'm guessing he's trying to add finer slats to the gate, to keep critters out? I don't think that's gonna work well...
I agree that standing over the gate to do this would be a good idea, at least for nailing it in high. But he should be doing it on the other side of this gate because that crossbar means the slats won't be flat against it.
And funny you mentioned splitting logs, because those nails are going to split those thin slats. Need to use much finer nails or pre-drill. (And they're going to stick out the other side too.)
The main rotor fell into the river and appeared to be intact to me. I'm going to guess it detached and wound up striking the tail on its way out, shearing straight through.
A lot of places where it's discounted sell goods to the US that are kinda necessary, and also don't import a huge amount from the US and have other options.
One big example is Taiwan. A 32% tariff on the chips they sell us will already be pretty painful, and they have a trading network all over East Asia.

This would indeed help make you stronger. It would also permanently label you a weeaboo.

Ran across a thread on X describing how the newest OpenAI chatbot elaborately lied about a response it dreamed up...

On the contrary, your conversations are stored and will be used to train future versions.

No, a fraudster would not want to have anything that stands out in their application, they'd use a plausible age.
I'm going to guess that people put a birthdate of something like '97, and a software input issue assumed current century.

People aren't going to file for unemployment with ages in the future. This has to be a data error.
