https://www.voat.xyz/viewpost?postid=65ef90bf028e0My mom filed an eviction on me a few days after that post. I went to court last week and she pleaded with the commissioner to evict me immediate but she didn't have the proper paperwork so it was adjourned until today (4/15).
I went to eviction court 2 hours early and was able to secure some free '1st come, 1st served' lawyer representation that the county provides for people facing eviction. I was told my case would get delayed for another 3 weeks because the courts are backed up yet my mom LIED to the commissioner and said that she's in fear for her life and sleeps with a KNIFE on her bed stand because "I scare her that much."
My legal team jumped on that and told the commissioner that I'm the one in danger since my mom admitted to the court that she sleeps with a weapon and since has displayed "outbursts of overreaction in the courts" that my eviction case be sealed immediately so I can find proper housing immediately due my safety, as well as "excessive measures" she has taken as a "landlord" in order to evict a tenant due to her pleading with the commissioner to get this case in front of judge ASAP in order to evict me ASAP.
Steps were taken by the commissioner to pass this to a judge today, while I showed my attorneys the written agreement my mother forced me to sign 2 days after I moved in (contracts signed under duress are null & void and I had no choice to sign it because I'd get kicked out).
She never gave me a copy of the contract (which she's legally supposed to) and she breached the contract by calling the police over a minor argument which I wasn't arrested for. She also stated on the eviction notice that calling the cops on me was enough for her to evict me, which isn't grounds to evict someone.
Last week she BEGGED AND PLEADED with the commissioner to evict me, yet she didn't have the proper paperwork to legally go thru the eviction. She lied and made up stories, and the commissioner didn't care because it was hearsay.
Today she had the proper paperwork and made another outburst towards a different commissioner as to why she wants me out ASAP. He did an "off-the-record" with her and had the case expedited because she had a hysterical meltdown after he told her we had to come back May 9th for - He went out of his way and the court's way to expedite the case to a FEMALE judge who just so happened to be willing to take the case with 35mins before 5pm.
My mom was still hysterical, she lied to the judge saying she only gave me 30 days to find a place but I had pics on my phone of the contract she made sign which specifically said she'll give me until April 30th RENT FREE. Her phone rang TWICE in court and the judge asked her to step out.
Judge saw my contract (which my mom didn't bring to court nor brought it up to the court) and sided with me, saying that my mother is technically obstructed justice and could be charged with perjury since, and sine she lied about the contract that I could sue her for breach of contract.
My mother may get a summons from the court to ask her questions about why she lied. Lawyers told me she could be imprisoned for 1-3 years for either obstruction of justice, perjury or both.
I'm laughing because this is EXACTLY what this cunt of my mother deserves. She can't keep her lies straight and thinks the world is in her side when in fact ClownWorld has taken over and stupid landlords who think they're above the law will eventually get theirs.
I honestly hope my mom dies soon. I don't a fuck about her anymore and if she's gonna go thru all this trouble to evict me because I found out that her "boyfriend" is in prison because he was caught with CP, then she should go to prison for lying to the court to teach her a lesson.
