so the guy was corrupt and was committing the sin of greed. the jews sniff it out by tempting the goyim, in this case telling some politician what they could do for him and how they could enrich him. he falls for the temptation and thus becomes influenced by the evil jew demon, and through his simple fall into temptation a whole nation becomes prey to a demon.

you can see similar examples everywhere and in every form of sin. they are little demons who feed on evil and the incorruptible knight who wields the sword of truth is their ultimate foe, hence the tales of the knight vs the evil wizard and his subhuman gremlins.
