There were so many mistakes. I guess thats a good place to start. The first one being shopping at Sams Club. I live in a food desert. Not really really but there are no fucking grocery stores that are real in this fucking city. I picked this city because it's very white comparatively and the biggest compliant about the school was that is wasn't diverse enough. We have since started homeschooling bc it was a white school but a shitty one and thats another story.
Shopped at Sam's. Got a pajeet checkout person. First one I've seen in my city. Get survey from Sam's club asking me about my experience and I told them what I thought. I can't remember the exact wording but I complaining about Americans not getting hired but you can get an H-1B in the middle of fucking nowhere. Months pass. I never use real check outs bc they have the app where you can be your own cashier but it's so nice to not talk to anyone while shopping. Yesterday, taking my family to the pool but needed dog food and cash to get into the pool so I go through person checkout. Something is wrong with my card they need a manager. Takes forever for this guy to come over. He proceeds to read my review to me. I can tell he's mad as fuck and he tells me, "I hire everybody". I just rolled my eyes at him and told him this was still America. It was a stupid response but it felt like he was trying to get me to transform into Karen and start slinging slurs at a white person. I just shrugged my shoulders like a teenager but I really didn't know how to respond. I felt bad for the man but I equally hate all people so I wasn't embarrassed just ready to get back to my family.
I don't usually post stuff. It just bothered me and though I have absolutely no power to do anything about it. I can warn you not to the Sam's surveys. (But on the survey I said they can't contact me too) This is what pisses me off. They can't fucking ask for my opinion and then be pissed when their feelings get hurt. I don't understand! as I turn around and complain on the internet bc my feelings were hurt. I get it. I can't help it. I have the small brain of a woman and my emotional side won't every shut the fuck up.
Long story even longer, they do and they don't care about how you answer the surveys. They will try to bait you into doing dumb shit. I wish I could grow and make everything I need but it's just not the world I live in. I've already tried contacting all the good grocery store chains that I know to get them to build here. My husband says I can't call corporate and complain. I gotta just let it go and I know he's right. I'm just so mad and I needed someone else to know. Thanks for reading.
