Dating only occurs in your teens and it was fun!

I’m a boomer, we dated in our teens, after 18 we were done with dating. You married the one you were with. This dating in your 30’s nonsense is stupid. Men in their 30s are just having fun, women dating in their 30s are just left over women.

Yea, I’d like to agree with you.

My grandfather in-law met his wife at age 18 and had a huge family. My grandparents were married in their 20s.

I met my wife when she was 20. It’s worked out so well.

Meanwhile, we have friends in their 30s who can’t seem to find the right person and most of them have a high body count.

If you don’t have that at 58 you have a problem. A problem that can be solved. Peace of mind comes with peace in your heart. Make peace with yourself. That means letting go of all your anger, stop worrying about things you can’t control. Let it go. Enjoy the little things. I love that first cup of coffee in the morning, for me that’s waking up. I sip that cup, read the news and don’t get worked up about anything, not because those things aren’t important but because I can control me…

I had a psychotic mother, she married a normal man who was not my father. She lied to him and passed me off as his for awhile. But I turned out all right. A little messed up, and some baggage. I went to war, got a little ptsd, but it’s all good. I love my family, I play nice with my dog. My kids still talk to me. I help them out whenever I can. Life is good. Having a psychotic mother is not the end all. Stop making excuses and make something of yourself.
