Problems with radio apps stream on Android 15     (technology)
submitted by Conspirologist to technology 2 months ago (+3/-2)

I have two radio apps, Radio FM and Audials Play.

Both have the same problem on Android 15. They both often stop playing for a second and then resume play automatically.

But also, less frequent full stops occur, when play isn't resumed automatically and I have to restart the play manually.

Here are a few facts below that maybe can help understand the problem:

1 - Spotify app plays streaming flawlessly on Android 15.

2 - On old Android 8, the old version of the app Radio FM doesn't stop so frequently, it's possible to listen to music without annoyance only with few stops, only sometimes.

3 - I have tried to set the streaming bitrate quality to minimum values, but the apps still keep stopping the same way on Android 15.

4 - I also keep in consideration the fact that both Android 8 phone and old paired headphones have old Bluetooth 4. While Android 15 phone has Blouetooth 5.3 with paierd headphones Bluetooth 5.2 Maybe last Bluetooth versions demands higher standards for audio streaming and force to stop play.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Desiccant dehumidifiers for electronics     (technology)

Electronics are damaged by high humidity. After I installed a desiccant dehumidifier in my room, it retained humidity liquid very fast.

I suggest desiccant dehumidifiers to everyone. They cost $10 - $15 a piece.

Have you noticed that all browsers have circle logos?     (technology)

A friend of mine just pointed out that all browsers have circle logos. I remember that only Netscape had a square logo. I think only Brave has a square logo now.

I hope it's not a conspiracy, and that not all these circle logo browsers are getting made by the folks who prefer circles instead of crosses.

Remember the game Tic Tac Toe? It was not just a funny game.

What do you think? Is it a coincidence?

https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/nvidia-announces-engines-worlds-ai-infrastructure-will-be-built-america-first-time

Nvidia outlined new initiatives aimed at strengthening America's chip manufacturing sector:

Nvidia is localizing AI chip and supercomputer manufacturing in the U.S. for the first time, partnering with TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor, and SPIL.

Over 1 million square feet of manufacturing space has been commissioned for Blackwell chips and AI supercomputers in Arizona and Texas.

Mass production of these chips is expected within 12–15 months.
Total AI infrastructure by Nvidia could total $500 billion over the next four years.

it appears that china and taiwan are in trouble. btw, they are lying with the saying that they are bringing jobs back because most of these jobs will be done by robotica and AI
