And quite frankly it's been one of the best decisions they ever made because Crimea has had its infrastructure drastically improved and they didn't suffer the same consequences that the poor Russian speaking people in Donetsk and others did when the Ukrainian Jewish coup leaders were literally lobbing shells at the Christian Russians in those areas which is why Putin sought to control those areas to protect the Russian speaking citizens there.
