How do we really know the dog is innocent? Only a human can have the presumption of innocence until they can be tried in a court of law. Are we going to take this dog to canine court and let the people present their case? For all we know, he may have just gnawed off a toddler’s arm.
25 years ago I worked in an expensive steakhouse. one night I brought home a 2 lb porterhouse steak that a customer had wasted.
It was about 2 am, and I tossed it over the fence to my neighbors rottweiler thinking he would gnaw on it and be delighted.
instead the big dummy, well over 100 lbs, tried to swallow it whole! he started seriously choking on it and I was just about to hop the fence and attempt the Heimlich maneuver on a huge rotty when he finally managed to get it down.
I could just imagine my neighbor, an ex Alabama football player, coming out the next morning and finding his dog dead!
