Approximately 2,000 year old bronze doors. So perfectly balanced that one man can open and close them without difficulty. Originally used on the main entrance to the Roman Curia, a building in the Forum Romanum where the Roman Senate met and Ceasar Augustus passed through them. They were relocated to St. John Lateran Basilica in the 17th Century by Pope Alexander VII as part of a major renovation.
