‘Unprecedented' rain, flooding shuts Death Valley, swallowing cars, stranding hundreds…. (As if it has never happened before…)     (news.yahoo.com)

https://news.yahoo.com/unprecedented-rain-flooding-shuts-death-015337801.html

The idiot author actually wrote and proofread this article with these paragraphs included..

The park experienced "unprecedented amounts of rainfall" of 1.46 inches measured at Furnace Creek, which caused substantial flooding. The rainfall total is just below the previous daily record of 1.47 inches.

The last time a closure of this size occurred in Death Valley was in August 2004, when a rainstorm caused flash flooding, said Abby Wines, Death Valley's public information officer. The rain totals for that incident are unknown.

So I guess the “unprecedented” deluge was under the record amount of 1.47 inches, but apparently they weren’t keeping track of rainfall amounts in 2004, so one has no idea how fucking old the record is or how common this “unprecedented “ event occurs…..

Record coral cover is being seen across much of the Great Barrier Reef as it recovers from past storms and mass-bleaching events. But the new coral taking over is leaving the reef more vulnerable to future devastating impacts, according to the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS).

Record coral growth has been recorded across the entirety of the Great Barrier Reef; which only means more of it can perish during the next heat wave, oy vey.

‘Analysis of the sun’s varying activity in the last two millennia indicates that contrary to the IPCC’s speculation about man-made global warming as high as 5.8C within the next hundred years, a long period of cool climate with its coldest phase around 2030 is to be expected.’

And yet global temps are flat.
With Svensmark’s cosmic rays hypotheses, a mechanism connected solar activity to cloud formation and cooling. CO2 dindu nuffin. And yet the AGW lies permeated the matrix.

CO2 is a nothing burger. CO2 atmospheric adsorption bands are already saturated, additional CO2 makes a minuscule difference.

Inb4 this causes catastrophic global cooling.

Oh and it's going to be used to feed fish and other meat stock, at least until it gets approval for human consumption.

The Northern Hemisphere is attributing an increase in mortality to seasonal variation, specifically warmer weather.

As Europe is in the grips of a heatwave, Australia is experiencing a 20% increase in mortality rate from this time last year according to the ABS, where some parts of Australia are experiencing the coldest weather for close to a century.

Subsequently, this coincides with a massive increase in deaths, which can't be attributed to 'wet-bulb' heat exposure.
