They told him you're going to have to lay on the ground he agreed and then wouldn't stop fucking around. So they put a knee on his upper back which is normal perfectly safe procedure that doesn't cut off anyone's air.
The whole thing is a farce from beginning to end. He died of an overdose as evidenced plainly by the autopsy, he was on shitloads of drugs that he swallowed when the police arrived. He was dead that moment the rest of it was nothing but a nightmare for police to deal with. Following that was a media firestorm not unlike what they did to Trump for 5 years.
Isn't that always the way it goes? Instead of getting mad at cops that are clearly in the wrong and there are some, it's always the George Floyd case or similar. Where there is absolutely nothing else that could have realistically happened and I'm supposed to get outraged.
If there's going to be reform, people can't keep shoving cases like this in my face.
Canadians are the most politically ignorant people in the world. Unless they are getting arrested they aren't even going to know this law exists. If anyone ever complains about it they'll pretend they knew it was illegal all along and they support it.
Even though the guy in the jacket is a brainwashed fool at least he confronted the person he didn't like directly. He could have just called the police instead. Yes, the guy having lunch is right. But, when you're visiting another country you have to abide by their laws even commie ones.
