My company gave conflicting messages, then waffled , interviewed and took exceptions, then dumpped it on the health insurance and it became a $50 dollar per month fee. I don't know if any one paid the fee. I demanded that they reopen the window which they allow health care changed and dumped the insurance. Next year we should all remind them of what they did.

2) I'll dual boot - hard as shit to set up. You dual boot once open up Firefox browse one site say, this is easy. Then realize your files and games are else where and never return into linux again.
3) same goes for a VM
4) boot into linux having nothing to do realize that you really don't use a PC that much.
5) use wine
Don't fucking do any of the above. Get a purpose first. E.g. I want to record TV. I want to make a website. NOT I WANT TO LEARN HOW TO PROGRAM AND MAKE A WEBSITE.
Get a clear purpose obtainable by you. Then start. Good machine 100% dedicated to linux - yes that includes the hard drive. Your goddamn files, pictures tax documents go elsewhere first. Then new installation on a dedicated box.
