I saw some dude teach it on JewTube but he stopped halfway and wanted money for the rest. Talking about Black Mountain Side. They say some dude named Bert Jansch played it and Jimmy Page stole it. Who knows.
It'd be cool if you played that to turn some folks to a new tune.
That's fcuking bad ass. I was thinking as I listened that Robert Plant must have had a hard time coming up with vocals and a melody to sing with that track.
I think I asked you before and you said no. You do Black Mountain Side?
Haha. I watched it too. Didn't think anybody else was watching it. Cool game. I didn't know the college OT rules till tonight. That Georgia coach is very well spoken.
Texas vs. Texas A&M tomorrow. I think the winner plays Georgia for the SEC title.
To quote the great ZZ Top, I thank you. For your ZZ Top song.
Yes the music is the main thing. The lyrics just go along for the ride. But sometimes the lyrics grab a hold of ones attention. This may be one of those songs. Gotta listen again to make sure.
Well I remember there was no FM till the late 60's, early 70's. Music was great when there was only AM. Top 40 hits going back to the, I don't know, 20's 30's? Love those old records.
Before radio, you had to read sheet music and play the piano to listen to music. That's pretty cool too. Or sit around and have your own little band. Must've been great.
I know. I was like that too but then I learned to like the short songs that were good and accept it. It's like, I'm satisfied with that and move on. I love All My Loving (Beatles) but it's too short but hey I'll take it.
Then you got Free Bird (live) which goes on and on. I just switch channels when I get sick of the long outro. It's what is known as masterbating the guitar.
That's one of those many bands(every artist actually) that had those 2 and half minute songs. There were all kinds of those back in the AM radio days. There was no FM at the time. Great music. Will never be surpassed.
No, the kikes didn't control that shit. Sometime you gotta put yourself in those days and figure that was part and parcel to the times.
Yeah I love those pre-70's records. Short and to the point. I like the early Beatles more than the studio Beatles. Short, melodic, harmonic and on to the next track.

It was probably one of the three I mentioned. That's the only 3 I ever heard on the radio. They played the fuck outta them.
