I like bluegrass. You'll find some really skilled guitar players playing bluegrass. Not just guitar, but banjo and mandolin players are usually quite adept.

Nah, I don't know who they are. These days, Billy Strings is all the rage - and deservedly so. That boy can play guitar. I don't think he can play anything I can't play, but he sure can play what he knows.

He's also not a bad showman, though he does start to look a bit silly when he gets into the groove and is keeping time with his head. He looks straight up retarded when he does that but it's really just a look of concentration.

I've been busy and we had a rather major storm that mostly missed me (though we still had some awe inspiring weather). But, the holidays are upon us and I'll have my daughter here soon. I'm looking forward to that.

There's nothing new from us as of yet, but here's something I don't recall sharing more than once, but I may have shared it more than once. After this many threads, I'm not sure how many times I've shared stuff, or even if I've shared it. We no longer have up to date archives or anything like that.

I haven't played that song in years. That's not one that people request but I played it in my youth, or back when it was still a 'new' song.

It'd take me a few minutes to remember how to play it. It uses DADGAD tuning, which helps quite a bit

I never/rarely take requests or promise to record something. My guitar playing can be pretty 'moody' now that I'm retired from the stage. I tend to play only what I like at the time, outside of practice sessions. I play what I'm in the mood for, seeing as I don't have an audience to amuse and entertain.

It's not too bad. Got an Akai midi controller off a buddy (haven't released anything using it yet), I wish would interact better with the software, but I think I need to upgrade to a laptop as well.

I don't do anything with midis or synths. I've played with some midi stuff and some synths but it's not really my thing - which is okay. It's one less thing for me to own too many of, which is nice.

I do have an 80s guitar that has a midi port. It's a weird Japanese thing, rather rare actually. I merely own it. I don't think I've ever used it for anything. I own a few keyboards, some of which have midi as an output option. I think I might have an amp with a midi out as well.

Ah well...
