I think they recorded it for a movie first and it later ended up on an album.

He didn't ramble as much as he normally does, so I could see why one might think it's a cover.

I mean, it's nothing like the mindless rambling of Mr. Jones or Round Here. I mean, while I like both of them, they're lyrically just garbage that probably sprang to mind in the midst of a meth binge. At least that's when I'd probably write something like that - though I do avoid meth as a general rule. That shit is nasty. Get Adderall or Ridlin (or Vyvanse) from a doctor. It's not exactly hard to get a prescription. Just tell 'em you were having issues concentrating and staying awake.

I have never done meth and I never will. I been offered. Hell, Uncle Fester, the author who wrote these famous old books how to make meth and how to make LSD and others, actually was in my house here cleaning my carpets once and he offered that shit to me. No thanks. I seen what it does to people. I don't want to be like that.

I don't blame you. I've tried it a few times but I'm not the type of person who would keep doing it. No, that's just a horrible affliction. I prefer to get stuff from a doctor, or at least something that started in a pharmacy. Then, I know what's in it - more or less.

I don't even make that a habit.

Hell, I get Vyvanse and I don't even take it every day. I take it maybe 3 times a week, often less.

None of the speedy shit works on me, it has the opposite effect. Adderall and steroids knock me out. The one thing that works for me is kratom, have you tried that?

It's a battle of the barre chords. It helps if you play the barre the A on the second fret and add the pinky on the first string/ fifth fret. Takes a load off the fret hand. I noted that in the image tied to the song.

Thanks. I really want to have someone else sing it. I had it in the works and things came up and I couldnt find the stems and i lost the email address. I should just re-record it and send the stems and get that great singer to sing it, I was hoping to have two of them and they both agreed but I got locked out of my email and lost the contacts list and lost communication with them. But I could still get it together for when I do get in touch again or find another great singer.

I'm in this situation. There's a BADASS singer/piano player here that would do wonders for my songs. But I sent her a couple and she never replied. I know my music is weird, but her band is fucking atrocious. Still, if she's that not into it I'll pay her. An incredible female voice might actually make some people want to hear my shit.

I don't have valentine specific songs, but I've told several chicks I wrote this for them. It's 12 years old, "Lara" is the last one I lied to about it. For our purposes, that's the 100+ year old L3.

The guitar sounds nice. It has a good tone to it. It has a nice mix of the tones, high and low, that make it a balanced sound.

I've shared a zillion pics over the years. I have a vast collection of guitars - like an obscene number of guitars, well into the triple digits. I'm an avid collector and an addicted player. I've been playing since 1968. I'm a classical guitarist, by training. My passion isn't in writing music but rather the faithful reproduction of music. I like to cover songs so well that you think it's the original artist. I want to be able to look at the spectogram and nod to myself because it was as close to the original as I could reasonably make it.

That's my passion. I love recreating music made by other people, cover songs if you will. Those songs already have emotions and thoughts associated with them and when you bring them to people they will emote accordingly. I like it when people sing along and dance to what I'm playing.

I can make them laugh. I can make them cry. I can make them love. I can even get ugly guys laid.

And, I do it all with the power of music.

I just got a message that my buddy Verle is in the ICU at the hospital, and the point of contact person for him is out of town so they called me. So I called the hospital ICU and asked if I could talk to him. They said they have someone there with his last name but they don't know his first name, but that he was transferred out of the ICU this evening.

I gave them my phone number and Verle called me back just a couple minutes ago. He doesn't know what's wrong with him, the nurse told him to tell me that he's been there for 18 days. I had no idea. I haven't been able to get a hold of him, but I figured he broke his phone or computer again, or somebody stole it again.

Anyways, he was a real chipper mood. Laughing and joking and seemed to be his jovial old self, albeit quite hoarse and hard to understand. At least the hospital knows his first name now LoL

His voice is potentially that way because he had a tube down his throat. That'll fuck with your voice for a while, making you hoarse and making it a bit painful to talk.

I've been 'intubated' before and it sucks. Man, put me under before you do shit like that to me.

But, I do appreciate Verle's zest for life. From what you've told me, he sounds like a person that actually gives a shit when he says he gives a shit. He doesn't give much of a shit about his health, but he gives a shit when he says he likes you - even if he was wildly drunk when he said so and he pissed on your couch when you left him passed out on said couch.

Verle and I would not be close friends, but we'd be friends. I'd sometimes stop in and get him drunk and high just to hang out with him for a bit. I'd also bring strange chicks to his house (if I wasn't faithful to my wife) and trust him to never speak to my actual girlfriend about it.

LOL Technically, they can't keep him. Well, they can force him to stay if they can say he's at risk of harming himself and can get a judge to sign off on it. But, no... He can leave if he absolutely insists on it.

However, don't tell him that. That's something that he doesn't need to know about.

I do not know yet. We were going to go visit him but its a blizzard so we havent left yet. Its supposed to stop snowing soon so maybe later.

But I just got a call that another one of my buddies is being taken to the hospital right now. The last time I heard from him was Thursday night when he called me to tell me that he's been sick and he went to the doctor it was so bad, and he got some prescription medicine and he picked up some beer to wash the pills down. He sounded like a drunk sick person. But then yesterday I was getting calls that nobody has heard from him and his phone is off the hook all they get is a busy signal. People were worried, apparently I am the last person he talked to before the phone went off the hook.

Now today in the snow his daughter went over to his house and knocked in the front door, no answer, the curtains are all closed, so she went around to the back of the house and she could see him through the patio doors passed out on the couch with blood coming out of his ears. So she banged on the door until he got up and answered it, and he is apparently incoherent, and she said it seems like he might have had a stroke, he's slurring his words. Then she noticed that he has a black eye. And that is blood coming from his ear. So now they think he might have fell all drunk and hit his head. They are taking him to the hospital now.

What the hell is going on around here. I hope he just fell and hit his head over having a stroke, as long as he's not permanently injured from hitting his head. But damn.

Im still hoping my son will bring me up to the hospital to see Verle yet tonight

They had a pretty solid blizzard in Maine. I guess there's some power outages due to high winds today.

They got Keith to go back to the hospital finally. They did another CT scan and they said he's leaking brain fluid out of one of his ears, and if it doesn't stop by Wednesday they are going to have to send him to Milwaukee to a neurosurgeon.

they gave him nicotene patches and alcoholics withdrawal pills so he would be comfortable and not jonesing for a beer or a smoke, plus they gave him anti anxiety medicine

he's got fractures in his forehead, the back of his head, and the side of his head, and brain bleed in two places inside his head.

Im just happy they got him to go back to the hospital

And, yeah, as you get older your friends start to die off. It's just what happens. I guess you get used to it.

Speaking of the hospital, my son and his friend decided to borrow a couple of snowmobiles - which is perfectly okay. They're even insured.

Well, he managed to go over a blind knoll and hit a depression with a large rock poking up. My sled is in pieces and he has a couple of cracked ribs. He got himself to the ER and it's nothing major, just some cracked ribs. They didn't even wrap him up, but they did apply tape and show him how to use the tape to hold things together.

I guess they no longer wrap up rib breaks - which I should have probably known. I broke some ribs in the wreck and they didn't wrap me up. Hmm... I think they taped it for a few days? I'm not sure. Those memories are kind of fuzzy.
