The Tonight Show(Johnny) booked a guest who was a crossword creator for the London Times just to get the word "penis" on the air.
He talked about how British secret agents arrested and interrogated him in WW2 because three of the answers in one puzzle were "gold", "sword", and "Omaha"...
...(those were 3 of the 5 codewords used for the beaches in the D-Day landing. Utah and Juno were the other 2)...
But the real reason was because he had a funny story about a woman who wrote to his editor complaining about the answer to a crossword clue being "penis".

The clue was: "The _ _ _ _ _ (2 words) mightier than the sword."
