See if dragons did exist their bones were hollow like a birds, hollow bones that big would have too much air in them, preventing any "diving" into water by dragons because they would just float, so techncially dragons would have "floated" not swam, does floating make you a fish?

So around noon today a Black Crowned Night Heron flew over head with a Flounder in its mouth, like 10 feet overhead. The fish in its mouth was so large it couldn't gain altitude.
Makes sense; there are dinosaur bones everywhere and only whites and Asians engaged in large scale building projects. Easily would have unearthed the fossils and come up with explanations for them.
Having watched How to Train Your Dragon many times, I'd like to say I'm an expert on the matter.
Clearly, when dragons returned to Heaven, on that final day of parting Man took note of a small bug that always did seem to appear and hang around where dragons migrated to.
Thus, one man, Thorsvald Slöbjørn, looked upon this small bug and with a tear in his eye said, translated to English of course, "Dragonfly" as he looked off into the sky one last time to see Man's biggest friend returning to their home, far from anywhere known.
It was from that day forward that the dragonfly was named such, and used as remembrance for those great beasts, once foes, but left our realm as friends.
This old tale is apparent when you go and play Spyro the Dragon, if you pay attention you will note a small dragonfly always hanging around Spyro on his adventures. Perhaps these creatures were something like pilot fish for sharks, forming a sort of relationship between dragon and dragonfly.
See, I like this explanation. I would except it, would love to in fact, except for this really obscure history book. You probably haven't heard of it, and most of it has nothing to do with dragons. It's called "The Hobbit". Based on this completely unbiased account, dragons are not our friends. When you consider the historian's other labors, you'll find that not all dragons could even take to the sky. Take Glaurong, the father of dragons. His might was condemned to a terrestrial existence, yet no less magnificent than those who came after. I feel like this is all akin to giants, bigfoot, wendigo, and mothmen. We're obviously being lied to.

Gold does not rust tarnish age or breakdown. We live in a world made of stainless steel where we think that is normal, and forget what a miracle that must’ve been. A statue made of gold will never age. A rooftop made of gold will never leak.
There are three rooftops on the island of Manhattan covered in gold.

You’re going to need to capture some flying squirrels and get access to an inground pool if you really want to prove your point.

Clearly the dragons would have swam and not dived.

hence why birds don't really fossilize, not enough substance there to do anything but decay and rot
