Quebec on fire at the same time

Was the story about the incompetent "women in firefighting" just a cover story? Or did they indeed contribute to the mass arson, because women shouldn't be doing rough jobs.

The women fire fighter story was in Alberta if i remember correctly.
Regarding the Quebec fires, read somewhere that the day prior to the satellite video of all the smoke, there was a bunch of thunderstorms and lightning strikes recorded in those areas.
Edit: Found archived lightning tracker from June 2nd. https://files.catbox.moe/nsy3jf.JPG here is the website i used.
the video posted by OP is from june 3rd.

Banff.

they torched a stable that had stood for almost two hundred years. Burned the "welcome to banff" sign. Must have been millions in damge.

We’ve been under smoke for 48 hours. I dont live anywhere near quebec. I dont think this was arson. Just bad conditions. And it didnt have much to do with women fire fighters either, although the Banff fire probably did,

East coast or more midwest? In Michigan, we've been fucked for a few weeks...first Alberta, then somehow Nova Scotia, now Quebec smoke.

Hope this isn't retaliation for West Palestine </sarc>.

I swear to Odin if I catch an arsonist I will execute him/her/them on the spot.\

I never go into the woods unarmed, and I think I am going to start actually patrolling my land.

[ - ] bobdole9 3 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:14:26 ago (+3/-0)

actually patrolling my land

Depending how much land, may be worthwhile to look into a drone. Could find a DIY kit to add the "dropping grenades" feature...

[ - ] BushChuck 2 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:39:54 ago (+3/-1)

I have several drones. They're not as useful as you might think.

I've run drills where I sneak up on the house while two of my sons patrol with drones. I've won both times.

I guess it depends on the drone, I run hacked DJI mini II's. The entire kit fits nicely into my go bag. The phones I use to control them have their cell antennas cut, and never connect to the internet.

If I hear a quad or other vehicle, the drone is my go to first move. But anything with foliage cover might as well be invisible.

[ - ] bobdole9 2 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:51:28 ago (+2/-0)

How improbable is it to get something that can view infrared? I'd only want the drones if I could identify heat sources. Hell of a lot harder to hide amongst the foliage that way.

[ - ] BushChuck 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:55:04 ago (+2/-1)

You can get FLIR/IR/ all sorts of stuff.

But then you're talking about a $20,000 drone that requires a pilot's license.

They're also quite a bit louder, and larger than the mini's that I run. I'd be worried about my crazy expensive drone being shot down by a trespasser.

[ - ] Sector7 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 13:17:46 ago (+1/-0)

They're pretty hard to hit, if SMO drone footage is any indication.

DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise

Looks like this one comes in under $5k. They have some pretty fancy ($$$) FLIR/IR drones. Also, if you have a drone pilot license, they're going to know and be prepared when they come for you.

[ - ] BushChuck 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 13:21:38 ago (+2/-1)

I run sub 25 gramme drones. no license, registration or anything else of the sort in Canada.

In the USA, yes you might as well run the Mavic. A FLIR/thermal camera is still crazy expensive.

[ - ] Sector7 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 13:04:01 ago (+0/-0)

Sounds like enough foliage and/or structures around your house to be an extreme fire danger if you were in California. Depends on your local fuel load and conditions. 100 feet is typically the minimum defensive zone around structures you'd like to keep. Kind of works the same way for intruders.

[ - ] BushChuck 2 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 13:09:17 ago (+3/-1)

At least 100M of open field in all directions around my house. I'm not retarded. The challenge is to get within shooting distance of the house.

On foot patrolling is much more effective. I'm just going to lengthen my morning, and evening dog walks by an hour. Give the whole place a good tour.

[ - ] Sector7 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 13:47:50 ago (+0/-0)

Sounds like a good plan with multiple benefits.

[ - ] HeyJames 2 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 11:54:44 ago (+4/-2)

You won't do anything for fear of risking comfort if caught

[ - ] BushChuck 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:40:19 ago (+2/-2)

[ - ] HeyJames 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:50:55 ago (+2/-2)

You enjoy supermarkets, motor vehicle transportation, broadband internet, access to entertainment, and the ability to travel. You would not risk that to act tough

[ - ] BushChuck 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:51:53 ago (+2/-2)

Okay, faggot.

You done? Or you gonna fag some more?

[ - ] HeyJames -1 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 15:14:38 ago (+1/-2)

I'm not fagging. I'm willing to admit that I will not make myself a martyr either due to cowardice of comfort. Just be honest with yourself

[ - ] BushChuck 0 points 10 monthsJun 9, 2023 11:47:55 ago (+0/-0)

I was homeless from 15 - ~20 years old. In Canada.

I can casually endure shit that would straight up kill the rest of you nancy faggots.

[ - ] HeyJames -1 points 10 monthsJun 9, 2023 14:31:41 ago (+0/-1)

Homeless means that you took advantage of lax vagrancy laws. In the olden times you would have been placed in a workhouse or the employ of a farmer.

[ - ] BushChuck 0 points 10 monthsJun 9, 2023 22:43:52 ago (+0/-0)

No, I would have lived by a river, and worked two jobs until I could afford my own abode, just like I did in the early 90's.

Nobody but close friends knew I was technically homeless.

Campgrounds were cheap, and usually had showers. Winter was the bitch, though. I wasted a lot of money on hotels during the Winter. I'd still prefer to camp just outside the city, and walk three hours to work, than live in the pod.

[ - ] Sector7 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 13:05:54 ago (+0/-0)

I do one of those.

Does my proper use of the English language somehow offend your retarded sensibilities?

Do you think that retard liberal faggots invented pronouns?

Funny because I remember in the late 70's, 80's and 90's there was the odd forest fire and it was almost always found to be humans that accidently or purposely started it. Now in my area we've been getting smoke from forest fires every year. Summers are not any hotter than they were before.

Hang yourself before I get to you, is the best advice I can give.

I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen. Surfaces do not get hot enough in the sun to ignite stuff.

[ - ] GroundskeeperWillie 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 14:42:12 ago (+1/-0)

I have a hard time believing this is natural. It hasnt even been fucking hot yet this year we've had 2 days above 30 degrees. Never in my life have I seen smoke where I live from a forest fire. One thing that I dont get is how the smoke is blowing east to west when the wind generally goes the other way.

[ - ] x0x7 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 15:08:28 ago (+1/-0)

It sounds like we live in sort of the same area. Have you ever heard of a noreaster, a kind of storm that comes out of the Atlantic and usually carries more rainfall than the average storm. Well sometime wind goes the other way from the norm or we would never get those.

[ - ] GroundskeeperWillie 0 points 10 monthsJun 9, 2023 09:43:23 ago (+0/-0)

and no, I have never heard of a noreaster.

California went through a similar episode with out of control wildfires. Dutchsinse called it. There were photographed captures of lasers from orbital satellites starting these fires. Canada is the target now. I have no idea why.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 5 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 11:51:08 ago (+5/-0)

lasers
Or they had a dry spell. One or the other.

[ - ] Portmanure 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:23:24 ago (+1/-0)

Are you trying to imply that things like this happen naturally? Like global warming? Psshaah. Perish the thought.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 13:03:32 ago (+1/-0)

Yeah things like this happen naturally.

That happens naturally too.

Doesn't rain for 6 to 8 months. Then the dry lightning storms sweep across. People in fuel zones who failed to do the 100 foot defensive perimeter lose their homes and lives.

No need to jump to exotic technologies to explain a phenomenon going back hundreds of years.

I want to see the weather just prior to the fires, was there a storm with lightning strikes?

[ - ] 3Whuurs 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 21:34:42 ago (+0/-0)

I guess it’s fair play for sending them that giant nigger black cloud of trillions of tons of chemical so toxic the chinks won’t even allow it to get transported in China.

[ - ] 3Whuurs 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 21:31:24 ago (+0/-0)

People forget the stories they had about how over half the Aussie wild fires a while back was arson and they’d found and convicted most of the niggers that did it.

[ - ] Sherb 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 16:25:59 ago (+0/-0)

Oh it worst than you guys can think. The PM had already a "crisis cell" up and running. They all had a "SopFeu" design shirt on for the tv(SopFeu is the org that fight forest fire here). Their theater was ready in advance. The news is talking about "climate refugees" because a few town are evacuated. This is all probable to prepare the sheeple (in Quebec, nearly 85% are sheep who don't have a clue) to the climate lockdown, 15 minutes cities and the rest.

[ - ] Sherb 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:55:38 ago (+0/-0)

In some part of northtern Quebec, you can plant a pipe a few feet in the groud and extract natural gas, it seeping out already. But it's completly illegal to do it.

[ - ] Localuser 0 points 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:45:28 ago (+0/-0)

[ - ] The_Reunto 1 point 10 monthsJun 8, 2023 12:55:55 ago (+1/-0)

Legitimately, cloud seeding is a plausible method for inducing rain and calming fires
