I received an submission invite to the Victorian Duck Hunting inquiry, skim through some of the submissions and see one from The Australian Wildlife Society, absolute fag shit, google the name of the submitter and within 5 second discover he's a freemason, imagine my shock!

Duck hunting in this state has been the biggest topic every since I first picked up a gun many years ago. All it does is distract people from the real problems with shooting, wild life and pests in this country. In the end it is meaningless. Find some private property. Shoot them. Any time. Although I usually avoid it when they are pairing off and having ducklings.

I do shoot a black duck every now and then on a mates dam and will continue to do so regardless, but if these Melbourne lefties gain an inch, they'll demand a mile, and it won't be long until my real passion (Sambar hunting) is in their cross hairs, and I wouldn't be surprised if Gov't use the duck hunting ban as an excuse to restrict shotguns, since "you don't really need them anymore" it's a stretch but I wouldn't put it past the commie cunts to try

They were out to get us decades ago and the main plain was put in motion with port aurthur. Its too late. They are already restricting deer hunting to seasons, despite them being non native and an ecological pest. Government doesn't care about the environment, it only cares about you being anti socialist.

They'll have a hard time restricting sambar to seasons in Victoria particularly where I live, N.E Vic, sambar populations are out of control now, but restricting private ownership of firearms on the other hand is real threat, Port Arthur was no doubt an international plot to disarm Australians of the tools to fight back against the coup that followed, it disgusts me to see what Australia has devolved into in only 2 decades

Every where has devolved at the same rate. The same rate as communist countries. The police were not long ago telling people to not hunt pigs saying shit like there are too many and it's too dangerous. Next they will ban pig hunting because it is a threat to people despite them being a bigger pest than sambar.

I want to ask if you know of any good farms for sambar hunting, but this is the internet and every one is retarded here.

I got lucky and rented a house in Wodonga from a retired bloke who owns 3 farms in the Mitta valley, he came to the house one day to do some repairs and saw I was a shooter and gave me access and we became mates. but I also hunt in state forests, all you need is a game license. there's lots of free camp sights in hunting areas, down load the More to Explore App https://www.gma.vic.gov.au/hunting/hunting-maps pick an area with a campsite and go hunting!

Nah man, I hate public land and I hate the new online permit system. Funny enough, after making that post an associate found a farm up the road from me that often has deer. I domt mind giant rabbits, but I like a bit more fat in my meat.

Vic. We get a bit of whatever up here. Gotta go a little bit out as they are spread out. Fair few deer farms around over the decades. I personally have never actually got one myself, but always there to carry, clean and share. Giant rabbits and bunnies is my usual.

Here's last weeks kill, 80% venison, 20% pork fat and 3 different seasoning flavors from a butcher supply store, some are curry, herb and garlic and the other cracked pepper, the curry was surprisingly good.
