Oh yeah, from that post yesterday. As far as western poetry goes, it's passable. We can do better though. The problem is that almost nobody cares about poetry anymore, it's seen as faggot shit. There's nothing fucking gay about using a superior command of a language to inspire your bothers and sisters. Poetry, along with classical western art, are earlier forms of memes. They take longer to take in, sure. Mean attention span has gotten progressively shorter. Poems are still effective ways of inspiring thought, and they shouldn't be overlooked.
Case in point, you looked for a poem that inspired you and you shared it when you found it.
I started developing more of an appreciation for poetry when I started learning more about our White ancestral religions, where it has a central role. There are Gods of poetry, special mead of poetry, and creation of inspired poetry was seen as something you can do that would please the Gods so they would favor you.
Much of the original texts and history that we have are in the form of poems.
Most of what I found had to do with Germanic or Norse Paganism, but my impression is that poetry was similarly important to the Romans and Greeks as well.
It's gotten a bad rep with the nigger slam poetry. Worst part is we let them have it. Kikes amplified Maya Angelou, and cucked Whites will tell you it's the pinnacle of modern poetry while at the same time not identifying with it at all. I think goats should be poets. Not all of us here are completely retarded.

It's nice. There isn't much real discussion of how we get from here to there though. Part of that is glownigger interference but real Voat was known, if maybe unfairly, as a 'terrorist training camp'. There is very little of that discussion here.
