Did I ever mention that I was nearly murdered by Gerald Gallego, when I was 9 years old? Charlene talked him out of it, on account of witnesses to the fact that I was there. May have been their first victim, but prolly not. My dad would be gone all day and my mother quit being a mom before I was a preteen. I think she thought she'd put in her time with my older brothers and just quit. I had to cook, do my own laundry and get myself everywhere. As a preteen I would walk for miles because my mother was too much of a lazy fuck to even drive a goddamn car. She would serve undercooked food with raw meat and she would go into my room and throw out articles of clothing for no goddamn reason. I taught myself how to drive because my mother would literally scream in my ear whenever I got behind the wheel.

But please, millenials tell me how easy I had it.

My childhood summers consisted of defending about a dozen tree forts in the forests surrounding my neighborhood.

This was actually a lot more common when Gen X was growing up than anyone really admits now.

Surprisingly accurate. They missed the part about eating random berries and fruit we found in the woods, and of course woods porn. I know I'm not the only one who found random stacks of porn mags in the woods, or stashed under the bridges in my neighborhood. I've always wondered how that was such a common experience for people who grew up in the 80's and 90's. My working theory is it was placed there by degenerate kikes in the neighborhood that noticed kids hung out in those places.
