Pleased with the new samsung galaxy watch 7     (technology)

I use a smartwatch for fitness and backup communication. Paired to my shockz bone conducting ear phones it makes for a light comm package. Battery is definetly 3 day between charges. Bands are comfortable and easy to change. Wear os is better than tizen but I miss the old Korean hardware language. Side loaded the blood pressure app and some other crap to give me warning when my body needs to ease up.

I would recommend this watch even over the ultra.

UUuguuuughghhhhhhhh ARG FUCK Just bought a laptop on ebay, I explicitly asked if there were dead pixels before sending and it arrives and there is a huge patch of dead pixels     (technology)

I filmed myself opening the package, and turning it on and got it from open to dead pixels in one video. This is such a colossal waste of time. Also the battery is so completely dead that I'm not even sure the machine can accept a battery. Nothing about the battery was mentioned at all in the listing. Otherwise the laptop is indeed quite amazing, high end and in excellent condition.

I seriously have other important things to do tonight that now won't have been gotten to. Like that my mode of transportation died last night and every day I don't address that is like $30 in traveling fees. Or that if I don't get a working laptop in like 4 days max I might have to go unpaid until I get one.

A new seemingly legit guy claims to have invented electrostatic propellant less propulsion for spacecraft. His patent mentions TT Brown and many predecessors.     (youtu.be)

His video
https://youtu.be/gFIOE-g6YI4

His patent

https://patents.google.com/patent/US11511891B2/en

At least in the state of the art explanation in this patent he does go over in detail most of the predecessors that most of the other people in this field fail to mention like TT Brown JL naughton and many others. So he at least knows the previous work. I don't like how it's patent uses such broad languages to be almost all encompassing which seems to like be like it would be disallowed from previous patents and technologies that have been demonstrated and from what I'm reading the patent he doesn't go into detail about how his device works with non-ion wind or nor does he discuss the fact that TT Brown had his operating in a vacuum and several others have shown electrostatic stuff operating in a vacuum. But in any case it's another one and he seems like he's with a somewhat legit organization. You know he's not a guy in his garage although guys in their garage in this area have made huge advances including jl naughdon.

I used to make bolos out of regular electric wire with a couple of stones tied to the ends. This is a very effective self-defense weapon     (youtube.com)

Just handmade bolos are incredible. You swing them around your head like a sling and throw them and they naturally spread apart and they will wrap around whatever they encounter and tie it up really well. And normal electrical wire and I'm talking the small stuff not even electrical cords split into but the colored wire that you see often inside of the cables and things is incredibly strong intention and it just works really well.

An anonymous T-Mobile employee has criticized the carrier for implementing sales metrics that might be leading to sketchy sales tactics.
A Redditor also claimed that three T-Mobile stores refused to sell them a phone without buying additional accessories and insurance.
The carrier has since told employees to report such “unsavory tactics” to their superiors.

The reason your Android phones don't have unlocked bootloaders and aren't rootable with custom ROMs is because Google implemented those proverbial backdoors for the government (and them) to use.     (technology)

That's what they mean when they talk about it being for "security purposes". The backdoors create vulnerabilities, so they want it locked down only for them.
