I've never really messed around a lot with stuff like that but have played my share of regular games. This thing is wild.

I've been playing a free kayak game. As I paddle down a river in Australia, some woman is singing heavenly music in the background like its coming from the tops of the rocky cliffs. Fish are swimming around. Its like I'm really there. There is some weeds that grow up out of the river and I go through them and can move each one with my oar. Its very soothing, honestly. I can do the shit for real in the real world and do but this is kind of cool.

Next I try some zombie game and I'm walking around this town and its like I'm there. A zombie comes at me and I grab his head with one hand and stab him with a knife in the head with the other like they do in The Walking Dead. I go into houses and look around. Open drawers and other stuff. Craft weapons. My hands and arms are bloody. I can walk up to doors and grab the doorknobs and twist them and go in.

I tried the roller coaster game and its wild. I did the Jurassic Park level. I felt sick from doing the loops and stuff. It really can trick your senses.

It came with the Horizon VR game. Big ass robot dinosaurs roaming around. Its something to see when a giant dino steps over you. I took the lid ioff a barrel and found an apple and held it up to my mouth and ate it. I also shot the bow and that is a trip. I haven't tried the Star Wars one yet but am going to and I hear the Batman Arkham Nights is good.

I think this will be the future of gaming once they work out the kinks. I think in the future we will be inside all the games. It will probably just be a pair of sunglasses. I can't even imagine what this shit will be like in twenty years. It would be cool to walk around cities and explore or other parts of the world that we can never go to. Any of you have thgis thing?

I did play the RE2 remake some years back and noticed modern games are full of shaders. Spent a lot of time exploring the police station and a lot of the fine details felt blurry.

Sega considering Netflix-like game subscription service     (www.bbc.com)

Sega is considering launching its own Netflix-like subscription service for video games, a move which would accelerate gaming's transition towards streaming.

There are already a number of similar services on the market - such as Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus - which see gamers pay a monthly fee for access to a range of titles rather than owning them outright.

Sega's president Shuji Utsumi told the BBC such subscription products were "very interesting", and his firm was "evaluating some opportunities".

Not a gamer but I like this premise. Shame it’s like ten minutes long. More like a proof of concept than anything. Damn indie developers.
