I played one of the sims games for a while specifically because I could afford a wife and kids on a single income in that game.

I’m old enough to be of the generation who had to steal quarters from parents, run down to the corner store, dump them into ASTEROIDS, play for a few glorious minutes, return home only to be discovered a thief and locked in bedroom for the evening.
So worth it.
