There is heaps of cheap X86 handheld consoles coming out of china right now, these new AMD chips are so easy to make handhelds now you don't need to have GPU chip so they are way better on the battery and better for heat.

dont get a steamdeck, the are so far behind now, not worth it,

rog ally X1 is a good choice if you want a good brand one, they allow you to change the battery and sticks, you can also upgrade the NVME drive.

dont get the normal rog ally, for $100 extra you get a GPU that is nearly twice as fast no idea why they even bother selling that version.

Not from what I can tell. My desktop build from 2014 is still better than any laptop I have seen so far.

My price point ends at $2,000.
